Splinterlands Art Contest

Hiii everyone~ ^^
Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest. This week I chose to draw “Wailing Wraith”.
This card is just so scary and I can’t draw scary faces because I get scared in the process of drawing and coloring :D that’s why I decided to turn this character into a beautiful, gorgeous girl. I really wanted to draw this card so badly because of the features and colors. I really liked her hair color specially.
After I did the sketch, I went on coloring her skin, while I was painting her skin I really loved how her skin tone turned out, it was looking like a ghost and I thought of drawing an original character with this exact skin color. Then I went on painting the her hair and jewelry. I tried to add some details on the jewelry by adding some highlights on it. I did the same technique on her lips and nose.
I chose a background color which could have some harmony with her skin color and at the end I darkened it a bit.
Hope you like it~^^

You sense of color tone and shading with values is translating well to the digital medium. Keep up the great work. I love the eyes!

Thank you so much~ it really means a lot to me. ^^ Doing realism traditionally for a long time helped me a lot in the process of learning digital art..

Whilst learning your digital arts... don't neglect the analogue as well! Either way though, you are way beyond most folks here when it comes to color, detail, and realism. Transitioning that to digital will take some time, but you are already better digitally than many that i have watch grow over a couple of years. You have an innate art sense that expedites your efforts in progressing! Cheers
