Splinterlands Art Contest

Hiii everyone~
Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art contest. This week I chose to draw the portrait of “Demise Archon Faust”.
I was looking through the new cards and I loved this card so much, it has got some charms you know! I like everything about it, the nails, skin, hair, everything is just awesome. I wanted to draw this character as a girl and since he had no clothes I didn’t draw clothes either but I had to cover her body with hair so I drew her hair longer 😄
The progress: I always start the painting by coloring her skin and then shading. When I was shading her face I thought coloring the area around her eyes red is cool like it’s bloody. I also liked working on her, it’s just becoming closer to what I want the hair look like. As always when I shaded the hair I added lot of strings with a light pen and then lowered the opacity for a more natural appearance.
At first I colored the background red because I wanted to give it a wild vibe but after coloring the white ball in her I changed my mind 😄 I think it’s better this way. What do you think? 🙂
