Splinterlands Art Contest

Hiii everyone~
Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art contest. This week I chose “Bila the Radiant” to draw.
The things that are cool about this character are her long beautiful hair, big eyes, and also her skin texture.
The character looks so elegant so I wanted to portray her as gorgeous as she is in my drawing. That’s why I had to sketch different portraits to see which one is better and then I decided this one is better.
As for the progress, at first, I started with coloring her skin. I colored the surface with brown and started shading with a darker tone of brown. After I colored her hair yellow and shaded the darker parts I added lots of strings of hair with a white light brush, and then I lowered the opacity.
At the end, I color the background yellow so it would go well together with the other colors used in this work.
After I was done with coloring her skin, I opened a new layer and used a textured brush to add some skin texture on her arms and face.
I had so much fun drawing this character and I hope you like it~~ ^^
