Pixelart: Unicorn Mustang

My Pixelart version of the Unicorn Mustang in the Splinterlands game. I want to portray here that the Unicorn Mustang is doing a long travel. In order to do that, I used a bigger canvas for my Pixelart. This will be enough to decorate and add details for the background.

Creating the outline of the Unicorn Mustang

I used a guide here so that the legs will be landing on the same line.

After making the outline, I put color on the body of the Unicorn Mustang.

When the whole body and hair was colored. I put the shadows on the different parts.

It is almost ready, we just need to finish the details on the eyes.

This part is the making of the background. Like the trees and soil.

It will be in a night setting, so I made the background dark with a shade of green because it is a forest.

Adding the leaves and some grasses.

Putting details on the trees.

Adding extra details like vines.

This part is the animation process. I am making the other set of legs of the Unicorn Mustang.

I adjusted the opacity of the main subject so that I can have a guide while making the next set of legs.

Since it is running, I am also adjusting its hair and tail to give it some motion later.

I made four sets of Unicorn Mustang with different positions of legs to make it look like running/ walking.
