Season in Splinterlands ended today. I know, where I placed at the end. It was really tough finish at top leaderboard, I was so close to finish at 3rd place on both leaderboards in modern and frontier. But at the end in last 15 minutes I lost my 3rd place in Frontier mode.

But at the end I lost position on last 15 minutes and I decided to play 1 more game. Unfortunatelly I lost and I lost 20 points, so in total I was 60 points away and without win streak, which means I need to win 3 games in a row to back to 3400 points. I not had all the cards, because I play frontier only 3 days and there is no rental market. So to have cards I need to buy them. Prices was not so good so I not bought missing card and I finished at 4th place. I knew that I have not that good cards to just win 3 games in a row in high gold I, so I just left my energy for next season.

Modern leaderboard 3rd place

In modern it was easier, because I secured my place yesterday and then I just played some games to farm some SPS. Last 2h before season end, places not changed and I finished at 3rd place.

I finished with 40 more points than 4th place and I was on win streak, so if I need I could play another game to try win another 40 points, but I play with silver deck in gold modern leaderboard, no single card have bigger level same for archons, so playing just for play was at high risk to get faced versus max level decks with better cards. So I not decided to push for second place at last hours, because 4th was really close to me. Another thing, when I started my games I had 3500 from yesterday and I was 20 points away from 2nd place and first battle I lost and then few more faced max decks. I was demoted to Diamond II, where I finished season with rewards for 3th place.

Summary

I am really happy anyway, 150k glint as a reward is a lot for me, the most important leaderboard for me of course is modern. And there I was on 3rd place. Frontier was my first season, where I played for top leaderboard spot I know that I had unfinished collection, so this limited my potential. But now I have 2 weeks to complete my deck and show them all how much I am worth in Splinterlands. Fun fact I played in last few days both leaderboards as you see i I have barely 100+ games and in modern little more, because played 2 more days in modern, then I switched to frontier. It could be 2x 3rd place, which would be great for my return for pro play. But it is what it is.
