Splinterlands: New Season, New Journey and struggles as a Newbie

So the new season of splinterlands is on now and everyone is trying their luck in winning crests, coins and increasing their rank level. With just 11 days left I had already given up because of my low rank and struggles of winning. probably because I'm still a novice.

So I got an advice from @belemo that I should focus more on ranked battle, to build my rank and when promoted to bronze level II I will start earning DEC. so I started battling with other users on the platform, although I faced a lot of defeats but along the line I started winning some battles .

Here I was at zero rating and was wondering how I was going to move to the next rank with just zero (0) rating.

Surprisingly I won my first battle and got to 20 rating and was happy like I won a lottery but then again I still got whooped but that didn't stop me because of the motivation from @belemo, I knew I have to keep going I wanted to start earning from splinterlands and also catch the fun others are having.

But I think the problem is me having just one card or maybe I really need someone to put me through it on how to buy and use spell books, how to choose cards to battle and other random activities needed to be done.

But till then I think I will just keep playing random ranked battles to increase my rating and move to the next rank maybe then I can start earning and opening crests to get more cards.

So till I get to learn properly and move to the next rank guess am stuck here.
