Splinterlands - Advancing to Champion II and opening 4 gladius packs
Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. Finally, after many difficult battles, I managed to advance to champion II (4000 rating).
This is the lineup that allowed me the honor of reaching the champion II league. Although all units had 50% magic damage resitance, I didn't care too much, and used the archon Lorkus, with magic units, except for Ujurak Brave, who was in the frontline. The opponent also used Lorkus, but only with 3 magic units, and summoned Venka with a beatiful spooky skin.
Venka was quickly defeated in the third round. The second position didn't favor her, as she doesn't have many hit points or defensive abilities; perhaps it was a mistake of my opponent. At the end of the battle, only 3 of my units managed to survive: Warborn Shaman, Kelan Gaines and Barashkukor.

Upon advancing to champion II, I got some free loot chests, 14x minor, 12x major and 5 ultimate chests. As always, I got some potions and merits. I also get 7 entries for the weekly fortune draw. Additionally, 6 energy and 3 common scrolls. Finally, I got 3 common regular cards, only one rare, and luckily 2 gold copies of Coralforged, it's common but is gold so it's pretty good; I have played this creature a couple of times, but at low level, so it wasn't very good. I hope to get more copies so I can lvl up it to the max.

Thanks to the merits obtained from loot chest rewards, I can open 4 gladius cases with blood stone potions, which increases my chances of getting legendary cards by 0.8%.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any legendary units, but at least I got 2 epic ones, Marisol Contuma.

My Marisol Contuma is currently at level 4, she's very strong and has good health, armor and speed. Thanks to her inspire ability, she gains 1 melee attack power, making her more powerful. I like to summon her with the archon Elias Max, who grants her the armored strike ability, so she can attack first using her armor, giving her a better chance of defeating enemy units and thus gaining bonus stats thanks to her bloodlust ability. I would need 8 more copies of her, so she can lvl up to level 5, where she gains 1 point of melee attack power.
Captain Katie is currently at level 5, and I only need 3 more copies to level her up to level 6, so she can get the divine shield ability, so that the first damage she receives is ignored. Katie has excellent magic attack power, very useful for defeating enemies with magic, ranged or no attack that are in the backline thanks to her Snipe ability.
There is still one day left until the current season ends, my last challenge will be to reach champion I (rating 4300). The battles will be even tougher, but I will do my best to rank up, wish me luck.
