Splinterlands - Advancing to Champion II
Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. After many difficult battles this season, I finally managed to advance to champion II (4000+ rating). It took me longer to reach this tier this season, mainly because of the new escalation cards on the battlefield. I need to learn how to play against them and, of course, get some that are really necessary for my collection, like the new 0 mana cards.
Upon reaching champion II, I got some free loot chests. I got exactly, 14 minor, 12 major and 5 ultimate chests. Unfortunately, I didn't get any gold, epic or legendary cards, such bad luck :( . The best I got was 17 energy. I also got some common and rare cards, as well as some merits. And 6 alchemy potions, 5 legendary potions, and 6 common scrolls. And finally 4 entries for the weekly fortune draw.

Now my avian unit, Dragonfang Lancer is at level 6, where it gained 1 hit point. This feathered unit, I use mostly in the new modifier, Junior Varsity, which only allows the use of cards costing 6 mana or less to enter the battlefield. So, it's great to have it at level 6. One more level and it will have +1 ranged attack power, so I'm really looking forward it.
My rodentian, the Anchor-Hex Adept, only needs one more copy to reach level 6, where it will gain +1 magic attack power. Sometimes I use this card when only magic units are allowed on the battlefield and when only odd mana units are allowed.
Currently, my rare conclave arcana reward cards are seven at level 6, and four at level 5. The next season starts in just two days, so I will be able to buy more rarity draws from the reward shop and will probably level up some of them. I will do my best to reach champion I before the season ends. I wish you the best of luck with your loot chests and, as always, have fun playing.
