Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. Valentine's day is approaching and at the last Town Hall meeting, which took place on January 16, some details and skins of the event were revealed.

This Valentine's Day event will be called Amorendel and will begin, if I'm not mistaken, on February 1st and it will have a duration of two weeks.

SEASONAL MODIFIER

Like previous Holidays events, Amorendel will also have a temporary seasonal modifier. What could it be? Since this holiday represents love, I suppose it will be a lovely modifier or maybe not?

There are many interesting abilities in Splinterlands that could be the main feature of this seasonal modifier. The first ones that come to mind are the healing abilities: Heal, Tank Heal and Triage. Perhaps all units could gain the Heal ability, perhaps Immunity, or they could gain the Corrupted Healing ability. I personally prefer the latter, as it causes units to restore the health of all other allies by 70% except their own, and reduces the max health of healed units by 1 after that; what is love if you don't get hurt sometimes? :P

I've thought of two modifiers that would be cool. I based it on Cupid's arrows. The most famous are the golden arrows that make a person fall madly in love with someone; and the other, not so well known, are the lead arrows that provoke aversion; truly tragic. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Love Arrows

All ranged units will have a 33% chance of causing love stun. They will act like Cupid and charm their targets with their arrows. The affected targets will be so happy that they won't have time to think about hurting anyone, counterattacking, or using abilities during that round, except for using healing abilities.

Lead Arrows

All ranged units have a 50% chance of causing aversion. Instead of feeling happy, the affected targets will feel hatred, dealing 2 pure damage and reducing the max armor of their adjacent units by 2 at the end of each round.

Amorendel Gift Box

Just like at the Winterfest event, it will be lovely to be able to buy gift boxes for your loved ones. Flowers and chocolates will be nice, and cards with messages will be very interesting. Of course, they will contain some glint, dec, or perhaps something more special.

All of the followings skins are the Basic Version, which will be called: Sweethearth.

They will probably be bought with a certain amount of glint, so if you want to spread some love on the battlefield, save some glint for these lovely skins.

Which is your favorite skin so far? For me, is definitely Jicarilla the Rime. Her dress is just simply beautiful, she looks like a Disney princess. The artistic design and details are simply incredible; shoutout to the artist.
