Splinterlands - Hanv, Master of the Undead and Goblins

sc.png

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. The seventh conflict of the Conclave Arcana is ongoing, which is called Time is not on your side. The airdrop will be the legendary fire unit, Hanv, who will become playable next month, on March 3rd. I will have 200 chances at the end of the event and each one gives me 0.074% of getting a copy. I hope to get at least one, and if I do, I will definitely use alchemy and midnight potions.

Hanv, like many legendaries in the modern format, costs 7 mana. He belongs to the undead bloodline, but in addition to summoning undead units, he can also summon goblin units regardless of their element thanks to his bloodline dominion ability and will grant them the Deflect ability, so they will not be affected by corrosive ward, return fire, magic reflect, thorns and blast.

And his tactic, allows 1 unit chosen by the player to have the Double Strike and Swiftness abilities, so the chosen unit can attack twice per round, and while it is alive, will grant +1 speed to all allies and itself.

UNDEADS

There are currently 11 undead units in the modern format: 5 from the conclave arcana edition and 6 from the rebellion edition.

In the wild format, there are 12 undeads from the chaos legion edition.

There are also 9 undeads in the untamed edition.

In the beta edition, in addition to the core cards which are the same version as the alpha cards, there are 10 undead units.

And finally, in the alpha edition there are 8 undead units.

GOBLINS

There are 3 goblins from the conclave arcana edition and there are also 3 from the rebellion edition.

There are 3 goblin gladiators and 2 from the foundation edition.

In the wild format, there are 4 goblins in the chaos legion edition and 5 goblins in the untamed edition.

And ther are 2 goblins from the alpha edition, and there are 3 more goblins in the beta edition.

Hanv, like many legendary archons, will definitely change the meta, especially in modern battles, and even more so when the rebellion edition moves to the wild format.

One strategy that comes to mind with the double strike ability that Hanv grants to one unit, is to give it to units with the Ambush ability, which can attack before the first round begins, so instead of attacking only once, they can perform two attacks before the first round. This will be a huge advantage for any lineup.

The fox, Rush Townsend who has 5 ranged attack power at max level and the ambush ability will be a great ally. Baron Fyatt can also be great, he only has 2 magic attack power, but thanks to his halving ability, he could apply it to two targets before the first round, reducing their attack power by half.

And of course, Hanv will be great against the dragon archon, Nidhoggr who can grant the blast ability to three allies. Hanv's undead and goblin units will have the Deflect ability and will therefore not take damage. There are certainly many strategies, and as I mentioned before, Hanv will take more protagonism in the modern format and when the rebellion edition rotates to the wild format. Do you have any strategies in mind for Hanv?
