Splinterlands - Kulu Mastermind on the battlefield
Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will show you a battle from a tournament I participated in. All cards allowed, and the max level will be of only 1. In this battle, all units will have the Void Armor ability, so magic damage will first affect armor before health, and the High Five modifier is active, which allows the use of up to 5 units on the battlfield.
This time, I used the summoner Lir Deepswimmer, who grants all my units +2 armor, and the Return Fire ability, so enemy units with ranged attacks will take 50% of the damage they deal. Additionally, Lir applies the Blind effect to enemy units, so melee and ranged enemies will have a 15% chance of missing their attacks.
In the first position I put the Kraken, which costs 12 mana and has high stats, and will force enemy units to attack it first because it has the Taunt ability.
In the second position is Djinn Oshannus, who has the Void ability, so he will take 50% less damage from magic attacks.
In the third position is Warborn Shaman, who already has the Void Armor ability on her own.
In the fourth position is Kulu Mastermind, who will attack the enemy unit with the least health thanks to its Opportunity ability.
In the fifth position and last position is the mundane beast, Deeplurker which, like its adjacent ally, also has the Opportunity ability, so the enemy units with low health will definitely have a hard time.
Battle
In the first round, my Deeplurker defeats the enemy healer, Merdaali Guardian.
In the second round, the enemy tideborn, Coastal Sentry defeats my Kraken, and then my Deeplurker defeats the enemy Commander Slade.
In the third round, my Kulu Mastermind defeats the enemy Sand Worm.
In the fourth round, Djinn Oshannus defeats Coastal Sentry. And finally, in the fifth round, the enemy Kulu Mastermind is defeated by Djinn Oshannus, ending the battle.
Full Battle
In this battle, both my opponent and I used the legendary unit, Kulu Mastermind, but with different summoners and allies, which completely change the outcome of the battle. My opponent's lineup had much more attack power than mine, but my defense was far superior.
I only lost my frontline unit, the Kraken, as the enemies misses many of their attacks due to the blind effect that my Lir Deepswimmer applied to them. An easy victory for my water units.
