Splinterlands Wild - Quora Towershead VS Katrelba Gobson

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will be sharing with you a wild battle from a tournament I participated in. This battle has advanced level caps, so the max card levels will be: common: 8, rares:6, epics: 5 and legendaries: 3. And only untamed and chaos legion cards are allowed.

In this battle I will use the epic gladiator, Quora Towershead, a 10 mana unit that is truly powerful, as she has 2 types of attack (magic and melee), in addition to good health points.

At level 1, Quora, in addition to the Bloodlust ability, which allows her to gain 1 to all stats when she defeats an unit, has the Heal ability, which allows her to restore one third of her health each round.

At level 3, she has the Immunity ability, so negative effects such as poison and cripple will not affect her.

And when she reachs level 5, she will have the Dispel ability, which allows her to remove positive effects of the enemy she attacks.

This time, only the Are you not Entertained modifier is active, which allows players to use a gladiator unit. The mana limit is 54, so I can summon other high mana units to the battlefield without any problem.

Both my opponent and I used the earth archon, Lobb Lowland, which has the Conscript ability, which, like the modifier active in this battle, allows the use of an additional gladiator unit. Additionally, Lobb reduces the speed of enemy units by 1.

In the first position is Pelacor Mercenary, who has the flying ability, which allows him to have a 25% extra chance of evading non-flying physical attacks. And he will restore one third of his health in each round.

In the second position is the powerful Quora Towershead, ready to deal a pretty good amount of damage and defeat some enemy units.

In the third position is Goblin Psychic, who restores one third of the health of his frontline allied unit each round. And this goblin's attacks have a 50% chance of applying the afflicted status to enemy units, preventing them from healing.

In the fourth position is Beatrix Ironhand, a ranged unit, who thanks to her Close Range ability, she can attack from the first position.

In the fifth position is Mitica Headhunter, one of my favorite ranged units, as it has 4 ranged attack power at level 1. And it has the Snare ability, so enemy flying units attacked by it, will lose their flying ability; Mitica's attacks against flying units cannot miss.

And in the sixth and last position is Kron the Undying, who has a pretty decent magic attack power and can restore one third of his health each round.

Battle

In the first round, Kron the Undying defeats the enemy Mycelic Slipspawn. Then, the enemy Goblin Psychic defeats my Pelacor Mercenary.

In the second round, my Quora defeats the enemy Disintegrator, so Quora gains +1 to all stats.

In the third round, the enemy Katrelba Gobson defeats my Kron the Undying. Then, Beatrix Ironhand defeats the enemy Quora Towershead.

In the fourth round, Katrelba Gobson defeats my Mitica Headhunter. After that, Beatrix defeats the enemy Kron.

In the fifth round no unit is defeated, but in the sixth round, unfortunately, my Quora is defeated by Katrelba Gobson. Luckily, after that, my Beatrix manages to hit Katrelba and defeats her.

Finally, in the eighth round, Beatrix Ironhand ends the battle by defeating the enemy Goblin Psychic.

In this battle, both my opponent and I used a similar lineup, we used the same archon, and 3 units, Quora, the Goblin Psychic and Kron. But the three other units we used change the outcome of the battle, I opted for play two ranged units with great attack power and Pelacor Mercenary, who is a great tank unit.

On the other hand, my opponent used a magic tank unit with good health points, another gladiator that dealt a lot of melee damage, and his tank unit, Disintegrator.

The battle was evenly matched, but I was lucky that my Beatrix, with only 3 speed, managed to hit Katrelba Gobson with 7 speed. Otherwise, in the next round, I could have been defeated by her. My Quora did a good job, unfortunately, she ended up defeated, but my other units avenged her and won the battle.
