Getting started in Splinterlands! + Question about Teampower

avatar

A wonderful good evening everyboy,

my name is Auryl and as the title says I just started out in Splinterlands.
I played for about 2 weeks, rented my first cards, even bought some and
got a base understanding of the game and reached Gold 1.

Today I rented the cards I got comfortable playing with for about 65$ for 30 days,
to be able to play in Gold 3 and earn 6 daily reward chests daily.

Might this "monthly renting" be the steadiest way to get started in this game?
I mean it's one thing to rent the cards you need, but it's another thing to
get the teampower needed for your actual league.

I would love to hear your opinion about how you handle the teampower, when you're starting out or maybe how you did handle it when you first started :-)

Greetings from Germany!
auryl

Hello @auryl ! This is @proteancreator from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. We saw that you already posted your first blog here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome! Great to hear you are starting to enjoy Splinterlands.

Since you're also here on Hive, the best way to start your journey here is to do an awesome ✨introduction post✨. You can choose on whatever information you would like to share and be creative as you want to be, and you can do that by adding a lot more details like:

  • When and where did you first hear about cryptocurrency and Splinterlands?
  • Who introduced you to this platform? Mind mentioning the username?
  • What are you like in real life?
  • What are your expectations in Hive?
  • What do you want this platform to expect from your content? 😊

This would help others know you are a real person (we have lots of issues with spammers and scams ) and be more comfortable with supporting your work. 😉

It's also best to subscribe to other Communities you like and share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience. Or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program.

Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.
