I already have bloodlust for Grum's bloodlust!

Hi everyone!

I can't really explain the joy of waking up and finding you have 3 legendary airdrops waiting for you. It might be another year or two before that happens again, but it's just such an incredible benefit to the entire Splinterlands ecosystem. It's a very clever way to sell packs, for sure, but the magical benefit to the players is honestly indescribable.

When Grum was announced two days ago I was already ridiculously excited for one specific reason:

I mean, look at these stats!

One thing I've struggled with in the current meta is just how durable/tough the tanks are. Out of 5 games, I might have 3 where my opponents have a heavy tank and 3 or more sneak attackers - and I often can't break through that tank.

I've loved having Uriel The Purifier available to bust through, and now I am super stoked for Grum to come to the party was well.

In my most recent game I was lucky enough to get a Reverse Speed ruleset which is perfect for Grum... and Bloodlust absolutely dominated.

I've played a couple of games with him... and once his shield goes down, he can quickly succumb to a barrage of attacks... but if you can keep repairing his shield and he gets a kill or two... watch out!

I love this new card so much... and I really do hope it starts to mix up the meta a bit too.

I actually had to make a dicey call on the Splinterlands General Sale. I had accumulated 348 vouchers and was going to wait another 2 days to make a purchase of 2000 packs... but with the General Sale hitting over 6 million in the first 24 hours I pulled the trigger and bought in that first 24 hour window.

It means I didn't get 52 bonus packs... which is a "loss" of $208USD in pack value... but it meant I received a maxed out Grum and I somehow managed to score a Gold Foil Grum Flameblade so I'm pretty happy I made this call.

Now I just need to fight my way into the Diamond leagues to actually use Grum's full attack power.

I really applaud Splinterland's airdrop system. They do all this extra work and essentially give it away to their players for free, but with cards like this, it's just an incredible benefit to the players and community.

Thanks for reading! Watch out if I see you on the battlefield!

Such a great card. I got one today from the airdrop and got lucky with another copy opening packs.
Check out the post I just wrote about the battle I had with him. It was a 15 mana battle and he was my only card but took out the whole opposition. Awesome card. https://www.splintertalk.io/@supersamio/grum-he-came-he-saw-he-conquered

That was a great battle! How amazing is it that he gets his shield back every time he scores a kill... I think that helped you a lot. I can't believe he ripped through that entire team... so good!!

It really did help a lot. And it's such a useful addition to what would still be an excellent card.

We need 3 rulesets in Champion.
Everyone blasts, melee mayhem, reverse speed. That'd get messy :)
