So yes, Land might have been easier but now with your cards you'll be eligible for end of season rewards and tournament rewards, which you wouldn't have gotten with Land.

We can see here (select Open Packs) that you got $414.60 worth of value and these will obviously go up once Chaos Legion is sold out.

To your point about other editions dropping in value significantly, I think that might be a matter of perspective, they've dropped a bit in the last month or two as everyone throws their funds into the new edition, but I believe they're still well up from the card prices they had when those editions were out. I remember buying a ton of Untamed cards for less than $0.01 each. I've been keeping a close eye on the Beta and Untamed cards because I still need to max out a ton of cards, and personally they haven't dropped nearly as much as I was hoping.

I expect all the previous editions to go up once Land is implemented, it sounds like you'll need cards to work the land and the older editions will provide better productivity.

I'm really excited about Mirandus too. I've got an Orc Clean Blood and a Human Pit Fighter exemplar. Can't wait for it to come out...
