Hello Splintermates and fellow Hiveans,

The market looks quite doing well despite being said September is full of red days. Today i would like to share " A WATER MAGIC AT PLAY " for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! where i am going to share one battle where i won using the magic plays strategy.

A. MARLAI SINGARIEL - is a 6 mana water foundation card archon. Marlai singariel provide plus 1 magic attack to all friendly allies. This is my favorite archon specially that the first thing i learned in splinterland is using magic where magic becomes my favorite plays as it is always an offenisve attack.

B. ASIL ALAGOSDIL - is a 4 mana water epic foundation card. At level 1 it has 0 attack, 1 armor, 4 health and 2 speed. It also has untrainable ability (Cannot be weapon's trained.) and divine shield ability (Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed). This was a crucial in magic plays due to its divine shield and high health of four as it gives more time to hold longer for the team to be able to attack.

C. GREAT BEAR DRUID - great bear druid is a 9 mana neutral legendary foundation card. It is a dual magic and melee monster. At level 1 it has 1 melee and 1 magic attack, 6 health and 2 speed. So far it has no abilities provided. Great bear druid is so far my most used legendary due to its dual attack and being neutral althoug its being 9 mana has quite difficulty to to fit in low mana battle. I often used it in second position as a secondary tank.

D. WATER-LOGGED WIZARD - is a 6 mana water rare foundation card. At level 2 it has 1 magic attack, 4 health and 2 speed. When using magic plays i often used it as part of the team as i don't have yet the water legendary magic monster which could replace water - logged wizard.

E. LUNAKI HOWLER - is a 7 mana epic neutral foundation card. At level 2 it has 1 magic attack, 5 health and 2 speed. So far it has no ability. At magic plays i often used it as part of the team.

F. SALTWATER MAGE - is a epic water frontier that is part of the foundation card . It is a 8 mana magic monster. At level 3 it has 2 magic attack, 7 health and 2 speed although it is a black foil that is always at maxed level as now the frontier mode is unlocked up to silver level. It has also a sneak ability (targets the enemy unit in the last position) which is a unique to some magic monster as sneak are mostly dominated by melee monster. With 2 magic plus 1 from the archon, this is strong as it will cause 3 damage in one hit.

G. KANAAQ MINER - is a 5 mana neutral common foundation card . At level 1 it has 1 melee attack, 2 health and 2 speed. It has also sneak ability (targets the enemy unit in last position). Paired with saltwater mage you have 2 sneak attack monster which is good at strategy plays specially if you guess exactly what your opponent going to do.

70 (4).gif

My strategy in this 45 mana battle is to used a magic team using marlai singariel summoning 4 magic monster great bear druid, white-logged wizrd, lunaki howler and saltwater mage, which supported by asil alagosdil as tank despite no attacks but due to its high health and divine shield ability and my last position is kanaaq miner to support saltwater mage for a sneak attack strategy illuminating my opponent opportunity attack monster.

....HAVE A NICE DAY .....
