ETERNAL TOFU LEADING ME INTO A PODIUM

Hello Splintermates and Fellow Hiveans,

It is weekend after Christmas and hope you had enjoyed your holiday. This weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! i would like to share "Eternal Tofu Leading me into a Podium" in a tournament Tidalring Modern Adept Invitational GF where i am going to share a battle link replay of one of my battles using eternal tofu and team.

TOURNAMENT: Tidalring Modern Adept Invitational GF

This tournament is luck is in my side where i am not sure if this is the first podium i did in a tournament where i place second and winning 587.30 SPS with 18 wins and 4 losses.

The Tidalring Modern Adept Invitationale GF is won by @samwiseg as the first then me as second then @kyl3 as 3rd place. All of us winning 587.300 SPS for a 200 DEC entry.

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 19 mana battle with standard battle ruleset against a very strong opponent. My opponent uses akane as his archon that is to take advantage of ambush using venka the vile to attack first with its high damage before the normal round. I then used eternal tofu as my archon providing added tactic scavenge and triage to olivia of the brook and support it with healer meriput magician incase the battle take longer so that a sustained double heal would be possible. But i was wrong, i think choosing corrossive ward and divine shield was the better option then i may not loss olivia of the brook in the battle.

1. ETERNAL TOFU - is a rebellion card dual earth and life legendary archon. It is a 7 mana card. It provides 2 health, snare and thorns to all friendly units at the start of the battle. It also gives added two type of tactics , first option is to give divine shield and corrosive ward to 3 units and second option is to give triage and sccavenger to 1 unit. Eternal tofu is good at up close and personal, earthquake , melee mayhem, super sneak, equal opportunity and amplify ruleset. In this tournament he became my most used archon

ADDED TACTIC ABILITY :

ABILITYDESCRIPTION
image.pngTriage - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied backline unit that has taken the most damage.
image.pngScavenger - +1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.

2. HALFLING REFUGEE - is a 1 mana epic neutral rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 2 it has 3 melee attack. At level 2 it has also 6 health and 3 speed. It has also weary ability (At the beginning of round 1, Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate). Halfling refugee is my favorite tank in little league due to its high 3 melee attack and even high 6 health even at bronze tournament.

3. OLIVIA OF THE BROOK - is a 6 mana epic rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 2 it has 1 magic attack and 1 melee attack. At level 2 it has also 0 armor, 4 health and 3 speed. At level 2 it has two abilities; opportunity ability (targets the enemy unit with the least health) and mimic ablity ( At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, gain a random ability from the enemy team. Dispel removes one mimicked ability in the order they were gained. Debilitations, Targeting abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt cannot be mimicked).

4. MERIPUT MAGICIAN - Meriput Magician is a 5 mana common life rebellion card. At level 3 it has 1 magic attack, 6 health and 4 speed. At level 3 it has also tank heal abiity (each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position). What i like him that even at bronze it has a high health and also a heal ability.

In this 19 mana battle with standard battle ruleset against a very strong opponent my strategy and positioning is to used eternal tofu as my archon to take advantage of its added tactic ability triage and scavenger to be receive by olivia of the brook at 2nd position. I then used halfling refugee as my tank and then supported by meriput magician at 3rd position for its tank heal, that is incase olivia of the brook mimic the tank heal a sustained double heal would be a good advantage to me as the battle gets longer but then i was wrong as the battle last shorter and my choice of added tactic might not be the proper choice although eternal tofu still brings in plus 2 health and thorns against melee opponent attack that gives me advantage in this battle the reason i won.
