Splinterlands - Beta cards price will start pumping

I have been observing the beta packs from the beginning. When I started playing Steemmonsters, I was thinking that beta packs are the only way in which we will be able to get some good cards. I realized that it was purely based on luck, only when I lost some money purchasing beta packs and getting no great cards from it. I will not say that it was not a great strategy to expect from the beta packs but I would just say that it was purely based on luck because I was seeing some of my friends getting some good cards by opening beta packs.

Recently I had a thought on that and was thinking about doing a massive investment to purchase some beta packs and try my luck again. But some instincts said that it was not a good idea so I didn't focus so much. Even yesterday I was thinking of buying some beta packs but never did. Today finally all the beta packs were sold out.

The real demand and supply game will start only now. As all the packs have been sold out, there will be an only a definite number of beta packs in circulation. This can considerably increase the demand as there will not be many people who will be dumping their cards into the market. As the demand increases the price of the cards will also go up. This is a small calculation that everyone can easily predict. This would have been a super investment opportunity for huge investors and that is why people invested so much in buying those cards and opening the cards. Some people still keep it unopened to try their luck later.

However, I received the above cards from the daily quest rewards. Though this is something usual for me, the rare card that I got is really helpful because I was just waiting for one card to upgrade and progress to the next level and I'm glad that I got the card in the daily quest. But still, my death splinter is quite weak.

Until the new cards start gaining popularity, I believe the old cards will see a pump in the price because there will also be people who will keep buying the cards and keep upgrading the cards. We will soon be able to see the demand for beta cards and a slight increase in the price. Some people are waiting for that moment to sell their cards for a best price. I believe new investors or new players will mostly go for it and try to purchase some cards from the market creating a demand. Let's just wait and watch.
