Splinterlands - Oh I see new cards in Season rewards

Probably late for the excitement there but I got time only today to showcase my season rewards. I saw some of my friends discussing about Chicken card from the new season rewards. I was wondering what that card was. Later understood that it was something new and it carried no mana to be used. That is one cool thing but it looks like the card has no other features apart from this. I was wondering why else people would think about using this card. But anyway when we have a free slot in any of the games, we can maybe use this card to fill up space.

Yes, I'm getting 26 cards again this season as well. I'm not sure when I'm going to reach Gold I in any of the seasons. Though I've been upgrading my cards, I have not become powerful yet to reach Gold I or beyond that. To be honest, I didn't even try and see if I'm able to make it for Gold I. Maybe I will experiment it out during this season to see if that is even an option for me or not. But, I'm really happy that I'm able to get at least 26 cards from the season. The reason is that in some seasons, it becomes challenging for me to even reach Gold II even though I have a record of reaching that in the past.

Over to the quest rewards, I received the above cards from the season quest rewards. As mentioned in the title of the article, I'm able to see so many new cards this season. I'm glad that I even got one Legendary card from the season rewards. I quickly went and checked the price of the legendary card and noticed that it was around 5.76$ which is great. Apart from this, I also received a few rare cards which are also pretty new for me.
