This Goblin can't read your moves, but it can undo the damages!

Hey everyone! Today I want to talk a little bit about the card Goblin Psychic in Splinterlands and show a Battle I had recently with it.

Looking at the card...

One reason I like Goblin Psychic is the 2 Magic it has even at level 1. Actually, I still think this card is underpriced, the only reason it isn't expensive, in my opinion, is because it's on the starting cards list. I already went ahead and bought a level 2 a little while ago, because it's a nice card to have and the extra HP is a plus with lvl 2.

This card slaps. Good Damage and Tank Heal make this quite versatile for high-mana fights especially.
The issue tends to be where you should put this to survive. With 3HP this is a pretty squishy card for 6 Mana. The abilities it gains at higher levels are pretty awesome though and eventually it gets 7HP.

I typically choose this card when I have enough Mana for Mycelic Slipspawn as well, or enough Mana for at least 2 other tanks. Wood Nymph is a better alternative when Mana restrictions are tight.
Overall though I'd still rate this an A-tier card and one I can imagine will be relevant for years to come.

First Battle: Shield of Slipspawn
Here I have Slipspawn upfront and the Fiend right behind to take a hit once my Taunt card is down. Meanwhile, some rear support and Goblin Psychic to heal the Tank and possibly my Magi of Chaos if it gets down to it. While my enemy was geared to fight a Melee or Ranged setup, this build is pretty good generally speaking.
Results: Win!

Second Battle: Slipping Slipspawn
Here I took a similar approach, but I messed up on my placement a little bit. Unfortunately for me this death build is very powerful against mine, and I lost here. You can still use a variation of this build and win against Death teams, but it is pretty hard. You can't win them all, and I thought it would be good to share a common way to lose with this card.
Results: Loss!
