Quick post: Extreme luck on Airdrop reward!

image.png

Hey fellow players!

I've purchased maybe 20 packs of the Chaos Legion so far, 6 of those being General Sale packs, so eligible for the new airdrops.

The general sale packs are 4000 credits, I.E. $4 per pack. If you don't have potions you'll probably want to buy some, but they are fairly inexpensive, but still it adds to the cost.

While you can find packs cheaper on Hive Engine right now, you won't get a chance at the airdrop cards if you buy those. I did buy a few too though, but ironically I actually lost money on the cheap ones that I bought. 🤣

0.285% to receive each airdrop, insane luck!

I didn't get either of the other 2 airdrop cards, but I can't complain! This actually made my day, I was able to get more funds to keep renting safely and push to higher ranks, and bought some gas for the car to take my kid out to the park. Got her a nice sandwich too! It was a welcome surprise.

Thanks to @taromilktea100 for reminding me to check it today, and thanks to @splinterlands for this opportunity to begin with!

How to check for your airdrop rewards:

From any page in-game while on Desktop, you should be able to see these array of icons in the top left. Just click that stack of coins, which is outlined in red, and you can get to the screen shown below.

Here's the first think you'll see when opening the shop.
I outlined the button, upper right screen, for checking to see if you won an airdrop in yellow.
The spot to buy packs with credits is outlines in red, lower right screen.
You can also see how many packs have been sold and access the pages for other things, like Potions and Skins. (Land and Dice aren't really active pages at the moment, as they are sold out completely, so you'd need to buy on Hive Engine or such.)

The pack sales are moving steady I would say, 6.6M sold so far, nearing that half way point.
Personally, I think this benefits the game more in the long run, as it allows time for the smaller investors like me to accumulate them over time, so in turn a more even distribution I would say. I suppose we'll see, I'm excited either way!

Have any of you bought any pre-sale or general sale packs? How was your luck with airdrops?

I think you don't waste your money to chase airdrops, but you can also buy those cards from market too and packs as well with comparatively economic value. Lets have a fun to the end of this general sales.

I agree, I wouldn't chase the airdrop rewards unless I was buying many packs. It's still cool that shrimps like me can win something too though, even if it is very rare. Best of luck you!
