Battle Challenge Scavor Firebolt

Scavo_Firebolt_header.gif

Intro

Scavo firebolt is a monster i occasionally use. Because i only own a Tarsa as fire summoner, I mostly chose melee monsters. There are some ruleset where the scavo firebolt is in advantage. and with its 4 mana monster it is a cheap monster with 2 damage and 4 health

THEME: SCAVO FIREBOLT
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: RARE
Element: FIRE
Attack: RANGED
Abilities: Knock Out at level 6

Stats:

I got my scavo firebolt on level (2) therefor it has no extra knock out abbility. So it is imo good in ruleset back to basic or target practice or aim true.

Strategy

This is a nice rule set to combine with the scavo firebolt not a high mana cap and with the target practice and close range this can work. Even when the scavo firebolt ends up in the front it still can do damage.

Rulesets

Target practice

All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability

Close Range
Simple range can also shoot from the first place

The Lineup:

Summoner

CardReason
To be able to play the scabo firebolt.

Monsters Lineup

Living Lava(lvl 1):
One of the best tank i.m.o. of fire, at least that i own. i use it very often most of the time when it is a high mana game. In this battle it was a bit of a gamble with the low mana cap i normally use the Antoid Platoon

Scorch Fiend (lvl 1):
Simple meat shield to protect the scavo

Scavo Firebolt (lvl 2):
Normally I choose Serpentine Soldier, because it gets 3 damage with Tarsa and has opportunity but has only 1 health. Now we have the target practice and true aim rule-set this might be in favor for the scavo firebolt because it got 4 health so it can take one or two punches.

Tenyii Striker (lvl 2):
Very strong card often i play it in the back line. Nice health and with tarsa 3 damage attacking the backline of my opponent.

Rounds:

Start:
Magic is strong but with my snipe and sneak it might be a good setup.
The Failed Summoner is useless but still is a meat shield with 4 health.

image.png
Round 1:
This was not what i expected (TIL) because of the target practice my scavo firebolt was targeted by all magic monsters 😂
Killed Mycelic Morphoid and Khmer Princess, which is nice. The battle is not over my melee monster are to strong. Only the 5 speed of Regal Peryton might deliver lots of misses.

image.png
Round 2:
Nice hit from Tenyii Striker only the Regal Peryton is left. Not to many misses and it is over for my opponent

image.png
Round 3:
On nooo there we go 2 misses

image.png
Round 4:
One hit, one miss. With how many changes Tenyii Striker has he should be able to kill the Regal Peryton

image.png
Round 5:
It is over Tenyii Striker takes the win

Conclusion

Actually it went not as expected. Yes it is a win, but selecting a range monster (only 1) with target practice this is a risk it will become the main target 😂. So this is again the reason why i like to write these battle challenge i keep learning. Most of the time I skip the battle to fast to learn from it.

In combination with my other selected monster is was a 99% win change.
