Battle mage secret: Equalizer
Introduction
This week we are going to look at the equalizer rules set. On of my favorite rule sets. Many options to play great cards. Directly I think of support units that are benefitting the most like healer and repair units.
Ruleset
All units start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team.
Important note that Buffs and debuffs are done afterward. When strengthen / weaken is used this is done after all has been equalized. Use this in your advantage to get an extra health over your opponent.

Abilities Synergies / Strategies
Heal/Triage - all unit have high/ equal health so heal can maximal benefit, because if correct you have no squishy unit or all unit are squishy.
Repair - extra protection while you unit already have a nice pool of health, Warning not when only magic can be played like with the rule set wands out
Life Leech - another ability to gain extra health
Cripple - because the chance is high also you opponent will use healing unit this can help counter the heal a bit, love to combo it with double strike like Dhampir Infiltrator.
Strengthen / Weaken - To get an extra advantage over your opponent you can consider using these abilities these are calculated after the equalizer has done his thing.
Also try to get in as many units in as possible
I try to select unit that have by default low health and low mana cost those benefits most other equalizer ruleset.
such as imagen this starts with 10 health and life leech 😍
Avoid
Martyr/Redemption - Units with martyr or redemption have a disadvantage because it only triggers when they die with the equalizer ruleset it might take a while.
Example battle
Strategy
This week a high mana battle the combination are in favor for some melee units. I'm directly thinking of a battle with Jarred Scar. If he lands the killing blow its boosted with bloodlust and then its gets an trample.
And the Equalizer rule will make sure it has enough health to start with.
Rulesets
Equalizer:
This week battle mage secret all units will gain equal health. Note this not include the buffs these wiil be applied after that.
Stampede:
All units will gain the trample ability. When a melee unit kills a unit it will also strike the unit behind it,
Equal Opportunity:
All units will gain the opportunity ability. All units will attack the unit with the lowest health.

Uriel the Purifier (lvl 3)
High health unit that will determine the health of the rest of the units. a big tank that heals. With recharge it will only attack ever other turn.
Djinn Renova (lvl 6)
Gain an extra health and with 4 mana damage also the triage might benefit when not the first units is getting attack for what ever reason. That unit will be healed by Djinn Renova
Jared Scar (lvl 4)
Important unit in this strategy for the bloodlust. The true strike and piercing are nice to have not a must. And it will have 14 health at the start of the match 12 of Uriel the Purifier +1 of Lux Vega +1 of Djinn Renova
Adelade Brightwing (lvl 3)
Made it in the team for the resurrect and repair. Normally in this this high mana battle it does not have much health but with the equalizer rule set it also has 14 health.
Time Mage (lvl 8)
Slow my opponent so i can strike first of the miss chance is improved.
Coeurl Lurker (lvl 2)
Let the enemy focus on this unit when magic is used the phase will be beneficial and the heal of djinn renova.

Rounds
Start :
Lets analyze the battle lineup. Pretty similar lineup i have higher speed so hope my enemy miss many strikes on Coeurl Lurker.
His double triage in the front with the tank in the second position is a nice strategy.
Also my opponent has chosen for the extra health (strengthen) unit.
Round 1:
Already 3 misses that is huge. But also my opponent void is reducing my damage. The double heal is strong of my opponent, as it strands now I will manage to do enough damage.
Round 2:
Perfect strike of Jared Scar and take the first kill triggering the bloodlust. No misses this round.
I did not see the double resurrect and both are used in this round.
Strangely the trample of jared scar did not trigger. is this a bug.... I toughed it should trigger... i had to look it up it
When a Unit with Trample kills the Unit in the first position, but that Unit gets resurrected, the Trample ability will target the Unit in the opponent's second position. source
well lets continue...
Round 3:
One down but with all that health it will take some rounds. My Coeurl Lurker has died once also by Jared Scar, so now my opponents Jared Scar is also buffed.
Round 4:
Another kill by my opponents Jared Scar now it has the same attack as my Jared Scar I got one level higher. Now it 3 units against 5 units so this match is basically over.
Round 5:
Another kill by my Jared Scar now it already has 9 damage.
Round 6:
One more unit to go. Team is standing strong
Round 7:
Victory!
Conclusion
The Equalizer rule set gives nice opportunity for low health units to shine.
Also some nice strategy is to gamble your opponent will bring an high mana unit. so all your low health units are boosted this strategy. Sometimes I use this strategy when its a low mana cap battle.
