Playground part 4: Wrapping Up the Playground Final Features Are In

Welcome back splinter fam π
This week I can finally say that the playground is finished.
Well finished for now at least with all the items I personally wanted.
Quick note before we dive in.
If you feel something is missing that would be important for your land planning let me know.
If it makes sense and is doable I am always open to adding more.
And as always please report bugs when you find them.
Weekly Playground Updates
Here is a quick overview of what was added and updated this week
- Add Keep and Castle into playground
- Fix SPS calculations in playground
- Update export to include workers original and updated
- Update page title handling into a hook

Now let us walk through the changes one by one.
Add Keep and Castle into the Playground
Previously the playground did not correctly calculate expected resources for Keeps and Castles.
This is now fixed.
The playground now fetches the region information and uses that to calculate estimated resources per hour.
This includes the 10% tax and your capture rate.
Just like the planner this is still an estimate.
It depends on how active players in your region or tract are.
If people wait over the 7 day harvest window the real outcome can still vary a bit.


One important note here.
The worksite for a Keep or Castle cannot be changed.
Because of that it is also not affected by the clear buttons.

Second Note:
Because of the fetch of all region information this might take it even a bit longer... sorry for that.
Fix SPS Calculation
The SPS calculation inside the playground has been fixed as well.
It now fetches the SPS ratio and uses that to determine the expected amount of SPS you harvest.


Again this is an estimate.
It depends heavily on how many players are producing SPS and how large the pool is at that moment.
The data is based on nightly updated information so it should be pretty accurate for planning purposes.
Update Export Original and Updated
The CSV export has been updated to include workers as well.
Both for the original state and the updated playground state.


Not fully sure how many people are actually using this feature since I never received any complaints about it π
But at least now the data is complete if you do rely on exports.
