Ruleset strategy / analysis: Reverse Speed
Introduction
Nice rule set this week. With this rule set some normal units that i would not select because of their speed are not very powerful like:
Lets deep dive into this rule set.
Ruleset
Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds.
Note: Miss calculation based on speed are also reversed.

Abilities Synergies / Strategies
Basicly all low speed units gets buffed in this rules set
While I try to think of other specific abilities that would benefit this rule set I can only think of thing to be aware of or your need to avoid.
One thing that you can think of is use magic unit the speed still matters for who is attacking first but it does not influence the miss calculation.
Avoid
Avoid or be aware of summoner buffs your team with speed like:
Or summoners that debuff your enemy team with speed like:
Be aware of units with the Bloodlust ability, this ability will increase speed after killing a unit.
And all gladius units
Avoid using Slow as this will help your opponent
Avoid using Swiftness as it will make you attack later in the battle.
Example battle
Strategy
High mana cap battle. With the opportunity I expect some melee units therefor I will demoralize them and because of the reverse speed there are some nice options 😁
Rulesets
Reverse Speed:
This week rule set reverse speed slow units will go first. Also the miss calculation based on speed O reversed
Equal Opportunity:
All units will gain the opportunity ability. The opportunity ability will attack the unit with least health.
The Lineup
Summoner
Card | Reason |
---|---|
![]() | Some variation is nice. I want to run a melee team so the +1 melee and health is good. And in this case lux vega has an downside with the +1 speed. |
Monsters Lineup
#1 | #2 | #3 | #4 | #5 | #6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
Forgotten One (lvl 5)
High health unit with low speed and retaliate perfect to be in the front will not be the target.
Antoid Platoon (lvl 8)
This is the unit that will be targeted and with the shield ability it has the potential to receive 0 damage in combination with some extra demoralize.
Tusk the Wide (lvl 5)
Slow unit with high health and it will boost all melee unit with another melee attack.
Legionnaire Alvar (lvl 3)
First unit with demoralize and still only has an speed of 2 so also attacks pretty soon.
Disintegrator (lvl 8)
Second demoralize unit also slow i do not have an y stun units so the knock-out on this unit is not used.
Drybone Raider (lvl 2 GF)
Another slow unit with double attack it can use range and melee because of the equal opportunity rule set

Rounds
Start :
Lets analyze the battle lineup. Both melee units of my opponent will do no damage to the Antoid Platoon.
The only worry is about the martyr and magic unit in the back.
Round 1:
Nice to see that the redemption does also no damage to my Antoid Platoon.
Next unit that will be killed it the Firecaller that has martyr. I think it will not be enough to overcome my line up but after that my Antoid Platoon will dead quickly after that.
Round 2:
The backline of my opponent will do some serious damage. Lucky more unit of my are alive to take them down be for the battle shifts.
Round 3:
Forgot about the Giant killer 😍 of Legionnaire Alvar 10 damage, instant kill
Conclusion
This is one of the great battles with reverser speed. With this rule set there are plenty of options. And many slow unit will become very powerful.
