Intro

A monster i occasionally use. I like the speed but i more often use Unicorn Mustang with high mana games and Hill Giant with low mana games. I must say these challenges let me also look into a monsters, in how i could use it more often. Very useful this challenge to broader you knowledge 😁.

THEME: VENARI KNIFER

Stats:

I got mine on level 4 so no extra abilities only increased damage/speed and health.

Strategy

I must say often i would pick fire in these rule-sets. but my daily focus is earth so therefore a nice try to use the venrai knifer, because probably melee will be used and therefor the thorn damage will serve me well I hope.

Super Sneak
All melee monster have sneak attack. I like sometimes to use an extra shield monster in the backline.

	My first summoner that i got on level 3 and using it often. Lately noticing it is easier countered so i have to adjust my strategy a bit with Obsidian

Venari Knifer (lvl 4):
Expecting some melee play from my opponent therefor Venari Knifer with thorns. pretty high on mana cost hoping that my healer can keep him alive

Wood Nymph (lvl 1):
My healer on second place because of the sneak play to keep her as long as possible alive. Her task is too heal the Venari Knifer

Queen Mycelia (lvl 1):
Shields up, again expecting a melee play therefore some extra shield might come in handy

Fungus Fiend_lv1 (lvl 1):
Meat shield in the back with the extra shields from Queen Mycelia hopefully it can hold up some rounds.

Start :

Did not expect this play never seen this summoner and monster yet in my league :)
So i looked them up in peakmonsters:

Only these two cards, >400$. That is more than half of my complete set in value, <800$ WOW.
Interesting to see what this can do, if I stand a change.
Also never seen the last stand ability Kron the Undying gets 5 magic damage and with heal and +2 health from Scarred Llama Mage. My thorns / shields are useless. The speed of the venari knifer is useless against magic, all in all not looking good for me.

This is going hard only 4 healt left for my Venari Knifer i don't think i stand a change.

Round: 2

Yup Venari Knifer Down this will be a quick over. Even that i got more monster this Kron the Undying is way to strong.

Round: 3

It gained 6 health wow just easy killing my monsters one by one and healing more than damage i can do, two more rounds.

Round: 4

Nice also a miss from my side and Kron the Undying is fully healed up.

Round: 5

Finally it is over the hurting.

Conclusion

Beaten hard, very hard. Nice to see watch and learn. If i want to compete in higher league i need way more and stronger cards and combination, just these two card.
