My Disappointing First Season Rewards

My first season wasn't so lucky with me just getting a common card Gargoya Lion, potions and and a pathetic amount of Credit.

But then again I only finished in Bronze III so I kinda expected it especially after the nerfing of the Bronze League reward.

That being said with how things are getting the $10 back for the Spellbook would take several months if I didn't change my strategy.

Should I start renting cards to increase my Collection Power and move to a higher league? Or should I wait for the Chaos Legion to have the chance nab some new cards?

Personally I don't like renting and prefer owning the cards but to get to just to Bronze II or Bronze III would require tens or hundreds of dollars of additional investment with the current price of the cards. An investment I'm unwilling to make right now.

So yeah, I guess I'm stuck in my current dilemma until the new cards come out.
