Splinterlands Monster Idea: The Living Wall

avatar

If you're allowed to create a Splinterlands' monster card what would you create? This was the question in an Hive article I've read this morning.

My answer to this question is this:

This is the Living Wall; a neutral type monster whose sole purpose was to annoy people and monsters. Well, according to the lore I created for it anyway.

Stats:

Rarity: Common
Type: Neutral
Mana cost: 12
No attack
Speed = 1
Armor = 10
Health = 10

Abilities: Slow (Lv 1), Void (Lv 6), Heal (Lv 10)

Lore:

The Living Wall has the ability to materialize out of nowhere and would often appear on roads looking like an unassuming wall -- as long as they don't open their eyes and mouth that is.

The sole purpose of this monster is to troll people and monsters by appearing in the middle of the road -- blocking the path -- sometimes resulting in vehicular accidents.

No one knew why this monster liked to harass pedestrians, and travelers. Nor can anyone explain how a wall was able to gain sentient. But it did and it has a very nasty habit.

So what do you think of this monster? If it one day becomes playable would you use it?

Reminds me of Wall Face in Secret of Mana:

Hey, you're right they do have some similarities except for the fact that Wall Face is less creepy, and lore wise, not an annoyance.

You do not need to put #peakd as a topic-tag ... there is no real benefit and the post is not about PeakD.com so there really isn't a reason to. We are likely the only account to search for posts with the topic tag #peakd so it really doesn't benefit you much. We suggest you use that space for another topic tag that will help your post more and is more related to the topic of your post.

If you talk about peakmonsters.com then we suggest using #peakmonsters

I hope this has been a helpful educative comment.

Sorry about that. I saw an article in Splintertalk recommending that we use three specific tags: #spt, #leofinance, and #peakd when posting articles to maximize exposure. But it seemed that that's not right thing to do. I won't use the tag again unless my article is related to peakd.

If you can link me to that article maybe we should go to the source of the misinformation. Thanks for the heads up. Also hope to see some great splinterlands or peakmonsters posts in the future!
