πŸ‘‰ This article focuses on different strategies and techniques revolving mainly around the utilization of elven cutthroat card. We will be doing a deep dive analysis on the card itself, the summoners it would best work with, as well as study one of my recent battles using this card.

Elven Cutthroat

This card is a common melee monster and part of the neutral splinter deck. It has 3 mana cost, with 1 damage 3 speed and 1 health. This card also has the sneak ability. And is part of the earlier released cards from the beta edition.

Key Features

  • Sneak - this ability targets the last monster of your enemy backlines. Very useful in hitting ranged, magic and even support cards.
  • Adapatability - this card is part of the neutral deck which means it can be easily used in any battle. it gives you flexibility of use in any colored splinter you choose.
  • Low Mana Cost - relative to what it can give in your battle, elven cutthroat's ma cost makes it a very cost efficient card to play
  • High Speed - offensively this allows you to attack and dish out damage first. While defensively, it can evade incoming physical attacks better compared to other cards.

Best Cards to combine with:

Malric Inferno
This summoner makes elvent cutthroat way more potent with its plus 1 attack. Use this summoner if you think that you are lacking in damage and you have a solid tank.
image.png

Pyre
This is the go-to summoner if you want to attack first. Together with other fire monsters, getting that first round attack willl definitely put you at an advantage. Best used in low mana cost battles where you anticipate opponent cards to mostly sit at 1hp.

Tyrus Paladium
If your opponent likes using Pyre summoner, then use this card instead as it can negate his first round of physical attacks.

Drake of Arnak
If life splinter is unavailable for use; or you want to use other color splinters, then go for this summoner.

Silvershield Knight
The inspire ability gives you that plus 1 attack enhancing your damage per round.

Truthspeaker
If you need survavibility then include this in your battle as the protect ability gives all friendly units 1 armor.
image.png

Brownie
The swiftness skill of this brownie card gives plus 1 speed, making the elven cutthroat highly agile, pre emptive and even evasive.

Creeping Ooze
Slow reduces the speed of all enemies, kinda the opposite of brownie, this card is a great pair with elven cutthorat due to its low mana cost.

Battle Analysis

Here are two battles you can view where i used elven cutthroat and i will go and analyze the second one:

Round 1

While it appears that I'm at a disadvantage, notice that i have silvershield knight pumping up my attack as well as my lineup focuses on sneak and attacking the backlines.
image.png

Round 2

While my tank and buffer might be low on health, it only took me 1 round to remove defeat his vespari, remove all enemy armor. And expose his last remaining attacking card with no armor.
image.png

Round 3

Start of round 3 opens with me attacking the ice pixie. And since my opponent no longer has any attacking cards. I will proceed to win this battle.

Elven Cutthroat is a great Sneak Card. I hope, to level him up some day to level 4. 2 attack points plus +1 from Malric is great.
