Chaos Agent in depth - Social Media Challenge

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a weekly challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I will share a Depth analysis of a Fantastic Creature: Chaos Agent. As I will show in my post, this creature is a solid investment considering how can take profit from a great variety of battle conditions. I hope you enjoy it!

Introduction & Evolution of the Agent

The first time I saw this creature I was a noob bronze player who was beginning in the fantastic world of #Splinterlands that considered that no great opportunities would come for new players like me. I thought it was a 1 mana chicken for new players. A very much worse copy of a great card. Nothing is farther from reality that the actual reality. Considering that it's quite difficult the comparison between a 1 mana vs a 0 mana creature, the question is that Chaos Agent has taken his place strong in the meta. And even much more as one is ranking up in tier. Now that I finally manage to play Diamond in the second half of the season, I can't imagine my roster without his utility. And first of all, let's take a look at his stats:

Bronze: I think that Chaos Agent is given Dodge at level 2 as a clue to every player that to play Splinterlands you have to improve the level of your cards. At this level, he receives his very first ability: Dodge. Also, speed and health jump into 3 at the max bronze level. Not a joke for a 1 mana card. But this is just the beginning.
Silver: Things begin to go crazy with phase. Now also evading Magic attacks. This is an aspect that annoys especially magic strategies because one always thinks that Magic always hit. But not to a Silver Chaos agent.
Gold: Chaos Agent spends his Gold evolution to beef up with +1 Health and also +1 Speed
Diamond: Finally, the chaos agent gets his third ability with Backfire. Every miss is returned with 2 damage to the opponent.

So, this is how a humble 1 mana creature turns into a headache for low mana battles.

Understanding the Chaos as a lead to Victory: Chaos Agent

In my opinion, in the name of this creature, there's his main purpose. You must extend Chaos into enemy creatures making them waste attacks into him while your army takes turn by turn his objectives. There are not many things more annoying than attacking an enemy army with a Chaos Agent placed in the right place, doing what he knows best: Chaos. There are plenty of scenarios where Chaos Agent shines greatly described in the picture that follows:

Equal opportunity: If chaos legion is the lowest health creature placed closest to the first position will taunt all attacks. As simple as that, and as difficult to remember when you've got only 3 minutes to decide your army.
Super Sneak: place him in the last position of your army to taunt all melee that will attack there. If lucky, he will taunt 2 or 3 attacks, earning precious time for our army.
Target practice in this scenario all Ranged and Magic creatures will attack him if placed second and the first creature is melee. In this case remember that in Silver tier matches, Agent can evade Magic.
Life Equalizer: the only thing more annoying than a 4-health Chaos Agent is a 15-health Chaos agent. Does the enemy play Grum? Time for Chaos! ^^ Place him first and he will evade more than 1 attack!
Other Battle conditions: in standard rules, he can be placed as a tank as a time winner, armored up. + 2 health for him! Holy protection? Extra hit!.... As you can see the limit is only where your game understanding reaches.

As my readers grow slowly, you will know that I love tactical analysis. This post would not be less. I bring you a Gold tier match with Chaos Agent being the Man of the Match:

It was a 22 Mana (low-mid) battle with Opportunity. I decided to play my beloved Thaddius, placing the Fiend into the end to taunt the first shot, and then all fire would go to Chaos Agent. As you can see, my opponent's Choice with Obsidian (was playing her quite a bit in his last matches), did not work very well because he placed 3 1 speed creatures. Agent evaded all magic attacks on him. A clean sheet of the Master of Chaos. Hope you enjoy the Battle!!

Budget for a Gold Foil max level

Finally, using the Bulk-buy function in @peak-monsters (I recommend keeping doing it because you always find surprises), I have discovered that I have to pay $70 for a max regular copy and $72 for a max gold foil copy.

I guarantee you that for $2 a max gold foil copy vs a max regular copy is a present! This $72 will help u in many combat situations, and what's more important, you will sow chaos into enemy files!
