Diamond tournament report - 5th! - Amazing duels!

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I bring my latest tournament report where I have reached my best mark: 5th! Hope you like it!

I'm thrilled to share the latest chapter of my Splinterlands journey, an achievement that fills me with immense pride and excitement. In a fiercely competitive Modern format, I managed to secure the 5th position, marking a significant personal milestone. This accomplishment is a testament to my dedication to the game and my ability to navigate the unique challenges presented by the Chaos Legion cards.

As a passionate enthusiast of this edition, where every card choice is a carefully considered move, I embarked on this journey with the singular goal of showcasing the extraordinary potential of Chaos Legion cards. In this report, I'll take you through the battles, strategies, and insights that propelled me to this personal record. Pelacor conjurer, the best unit in low mana snipping battles

In the midst of a challenging 32 mana battle, where the rules of engagement were defined by life equalizer, sniping, and thorns, a true standout emerged in the form of Pelacor Conjurer. It's in the sniping rulesets that Pelacor Conjurer showcases his unparalleled prowess, rising above all other creatures in the game. His unique defensive toolkit transforms him into a formidable nightmare for those who seek to hunt him down, and in doing so, he becomes the key to buying crucial time for your army to conquer their objectives. Life summoner is provided with such great support abilities that allow Pelacor conjurer to dominate the board as shown in the figure:

I strategically placed Pelacor Conjurer in the second position. With his impressive defensive abilities, including Divine Shield, high speed, and flying, Pelacor acted as a frontline protector, drawing in enemy magical and ranged attacks to shield the rest of my team.

One of the standout strategies was using Blinding Reflector as my tank. His primary role was to cast Blind on the enemy, effectively reducing their attack accuracy by 15%. This simple yet potent move disrupted the enemy's precision, giving us a valuable edge in battle.


Leveraging the synergy of my chosen Dragon and Life summoner faction, I had various support options at my disposal. For this particular battle, I enlisted Djinn Renova's help due to her healing abilities. Her role was critical in offsetting incoming damage and maintaining Pelacor Conjurer's combat readiness.

Adelade Brightwing played a pivotal role in ensuring battlefield control. Her strategic commands were not only instrumental in triggering Pelacor's resurrection and mending Blinding Reflector's armor but also showcased her as one of the standout creatures in the entire Splinterlands game. In my opinion, she ranks among the top 10 creatures, reflecting her exceptional prowess and strategic importance in the Splinterlands arena. The more rulesets have come to the game, the more utilities she can be given in the battlefield.

In comparing my opponent's choices with mine, it becomes evident that my summoner selection was a key advantage in this battle. Opting for Quix as my summoner allowed me to effectively debuff the enemy's ranged attacks, granting me a strategic edge. Moreover, I strategically brought repair and blind which proved to be significant advantages that my opponent lacked. This battle serves as a testament to Splinterlands' intricacies, where even the smallest details in card and summoner choices can tip the scales in one's favor. It's a game where every decision matters, and the outcome hinges on the mastery of these subtle nuances. Splinterlands truly is an amazing game, where victory is often decided by these crucial details.

Fantastic low mana Explosive Weaponry composition

In this intense 19 mana battle, where the rules dictated no melee units, no legendaries, and introduced the explosive weaponry factor, we were confronted with a captivating display of Splinterlands' multifaceted gameplay. With three rulesets per battle, each decision carried immense weight, and tactical choices had to be made in mere minutes. This battle exemplified the depth and complexity of Splinterlands, where strategic nuances often made the difference between victory and defeat. The board looked as follows:

1. A Sturdy Front Line: The foundation of my victory lay in the unyielding front formed by Chaos Agent and Pelacor Conjurer. Their resilience and defensive abilities created an impenetrable barrier that withstood enemy assaults.
2. Dax Paragon's Strategic Role: Dax Paragon played a pivotal role in this battle by denying healing to the enemy and amplifying the reflecting damage from Pelacor Conjurer. His presence disrupted the enemy's healing strategy and bolstered our defense.
3. The Remarkable Venary Crystalsmith: Venary Crystalsmith proved to be an exceptional asset on the battlefield. This creature's abilities, both healing and ranged damage, demonstrated its incredible versatility. In the future, we may fondly remember the rewards we received with this card. Venary Crystalsmith sustained our front line with healing and contributed significantly with ranged damage.
4. Temporal Master's Potential: While not shining at his brightest in this particular battle, Temporal Master remained a valuable asset. i know for sure, that if things had come tougher we would have done his part of the job. In splinterlands every single card matters!

I leave you the screenshot of my personal best mark. I know 70 SPS are just around a dollar in reward, but I am so proud of my evolution. This was a max level modern tournament (with untamed). So being 5th with few budget in rental like me makes me proud of my journey in this fantastic game!
