Doctor Scale - best support ever?

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I will share an in-depth post for one of the best supps in the game in my opinion: Doctor Scale and an Epic duel with him as a top performer. Hope you like it!

Choosing supports wise

This game is changing every single update. From a few weeks ago till today, there have been tons of in-game changes, with 3 rulesets games, new battle conditions (only ranged / magic, fury), and new abilities (martyr, weapons training, and fury). Also, all Chaos Legion legendary summoners have been revealed which boosts all the opportunities a player has to choose an army. Together transforms every battle into a fast decision game where we have to choose the army fast trying to choose the best combat plan while countering our opponent's decisions.

Related to all these changes, there's a Dragon Untamed support that shines with its light, being able to help tank and backline units while boosting ur melee units and erasing enemies' armor. This guyz is Doctor Scale and here's his CV:

I understand Doctor Scale as the best armor manager in the game. Armor is an important attribute for every creature, that can absorb a high strike with no health penalty. For the support plan, he will repair +2 armor to a damaged creature, and for the debuffer plan, he will decrease all enemy armor by 2 (boosting ranged and melees). When you analyze him on the battlefield, you find him working with armor and leading your team to victory.

If healing is allowed in the combat bring a Triage to it. This rule can be applied to almost every combat and shines for certain rulesets. Possible damage incoming to back positions can be done thanks to Opportunities, Sneakers, Blasting, Snipers... And also Earthquakes and Noxious Fumes rulesets will damage your backliners. Triage boosts your overall army Survival and interrupts your opponent's plans.

Strengthen is undervalued. The lower in mana the combat is, the better for strength. I've found tons of situations that my unit survives thanks to one health, and then I see my Doctor Scale on duty boosting all my roster Health by +1.


Finally but not less important, being a Dragon faction unit is a strength for him, as he can be played with multiple combat formations. He can keep your Wavebrood alive thanks to his Triage while helping your Pelacor Bandit and Deeplurker attacks thanks to Rust, or he can increase your Chaos Agent health by one while planning a dual repair team with Adelaide. Options are almost infinite!

Are we late on Doctor Scale?

I was keeping an Eye on Doctor Blight's price evolution. When he was 10$/ BCX I had plans of getting him a max copy. In a few days, his price has increased enormously. Let's hope somebody needs to sell. I also would like to take the opportunity of this post to offer myself as a buyer for a max copy. Would pay a max of 150-160 for a max copy. ^^

Doctor Scale outstanding performance in Champion tier

Related to the battle tactical board, I will bring one of my best season battles, in my first strike to champion. This is my main Milestone, that allows me to keep earning 60/70 Champion chest per season. I've opened a couple of Legendary Foils that will work hard for me in lands! This game is about earning and earning day by day. Relentless. I faced a 51-mana, snipping, and fire'n regret and the board looked as follows:

• Every-time I face an odd battle with a high mana cap, I choose my angel (so my opponent did). His survivability has brought me tons of happiness. A great tank that pairs fantastically with Life Supports.
• For my second position, and taunting snippers (all magic and rangeds would focus him), I chose Void Dragon. Void Dragon is another fantastic present that Chaos Legion has brought to the game. Well-supported allowed him to perform a similar job to another much more expensive creature as Coerl Lurker. His defensive toolkit of abilities allowed him to perform a great job.
• Doctor Scale supported positions 1st,2nd and 6th. Repaired Uriel, and helped my sheriff and void dragon healing/repairing. Take a look at his performance. Just brilliant.
• Finally, Sheriff with +2 armor, allowed Doctor Blight to have something to repair. It was a fantastic and long battle that I would like you to take a look
