My Rebellion Investment strategy & Champion Life Fantastic Battles

image.png

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I bring you a my investment strategy of the upcoming Splinterlands set, Rebellion and some fantastic and in-depth battles of my new favorite summoner: Life. Hope you like it!

In the ever-evolving landscape of Splinterlands, adaptability is the name of the game. With recent changes sweeping through the Splinterlands universe, every player must stay ahead of the curve and find new avenues for success.

Rebellion Presale: The launch of the Rebellion presale has certainly been the first step to the recovery of the game. Since half % of the funds will be shared into DAO, the game will earn so much desired funding and stability. To seize the opportunity, I've hopped aboard the @Hawks21's bulk buy with an impressive 250 packs (I had promised myself I would not go in, but it's time for every one of us to help the project). The beauty of this moment lies in the fact that scarcity is about to become a tangible asset in the game referred to as Rebellion, and I'm gearing up to make the most of it.

With these 250 packs I am trying to achieve a couple of objectives:

  • Access to some airdrops: I do really like Mantaroth and Gribardun Smith. If I could I would get max copies directly. Unfortunately, budget is a limited resource. With those 250 packs, I hope to get 25 Grimbarduns (at least one Gold foil) and a couple of Mantaroths. Cant w'8 to use that flanking ability!

  • Airdrop Conflicts: I love the way the Executive team is planning to activate future card Airdrops through Airdrop conflicts. Every month I will prepare my wagon with 100 packs holded each one to generate airdrop points. I also plan to buy max level cards that will show useful in the battleground. The feeling of playing these cards and generating airdrop points is a major change in the game! Also Airdrop conflicts will force player to hold their packs and cards will be even more scarce!

Life Summoner Series

In my upcoming series of posts, I'll delve into the world of strategies with the life summoner. These are tactics that have been instrumental in my journey to success. From leveraging healing abilities to mastering defensive plays, I'll share insights and examples that have proven effective on the battlefield. Life is an example that every single card counts in Splinterlands. You'll see examples where Blinding Reflector bought enough time for my team to lead to victory, those +1 speed granted from my fiend was the key to hitting first, or a 2 Mana unit able to hold the whole frontline. If you understand that when playing Life (and all summoners), you have to think how the synergy between your units will be tailored, how you will hold the line, and how you will win some inches that will bring you to success you will be on the edge of glory. These are the 3 main factors that make me love life today:

Life is meant to be played defensively. You've got access to a full set of supports that will help your units, GrandMaster Rathe is an example of bringing defensive buffs to your army while empowering reverse damage. When playing Life Summoner, you have to set your defensive plan and lead your army to victory. This means that your victory will generally come from a healing that arrives in time, an evasion that was not written on the board, an armor that has been repaired properly or a resurrect that frustrates the whole enemy strat. This is a life summoner. Before thinking about how you will damage your enemy, think about how will you defend yourself from incoming damage. Once you understand this philosophy you are ready to play life.

Isn't Life enough spicy for you? Let Quix lead your army. So simple so true. Quix will bring you a fast sneaky low mana team while Time Magic erases the enemy's armor, will build hard front damage that will surprise your enemy thanks to Sunkay harvester, and will bring Chaos Dragon, which has fantastic synergies with those martyrs. I will bring some examples in my second edition of this series, where Quix with Life has helped me a lot in Champion.

The allure of Chaos Legion Rewards has been a significant factor in my choice. With cards like Pelacor Conjurer, Venari Crystalsmith, Vulguine, and Djinn Renova, the Chaos Legion collection offers an array of versatile and powerful options. Pelacor Conjurer's defense, Venari Crystalsmith's boosted abilities, Vulguine's snowball potential, Djinn Renova's magic damage, and the formidable presence of Jared Scar in melee rulesets are just a few of the enticing choices that beckon me to explore this edition. Special mention to Iziar, who I have managed to bring to three and she can turn the board in your favor just with her presence

The journey into the world of Life summoners in Splinterlands is one filled with challenges and triumphs, strategy and adaptability. It's an exciting endeavor that continues to captivate me, offering a wealth of unique opportunities to test my skills and strategize like never before. In the realm of Splinterlands, life is not just a summoner's choice; it's a powerful path to victory.

A little less conversation a little bit more action!

In the world of Splinterlands, every battle presents a unique puzzle, a test of strategy and adaptability. The battlefield is ever-changing, shaped by rulesets that demand creativity and precision. In this particular encounter, a 24 mana cap served as the battleground, accompanied by the challenging rules of Thorns, Reverse Speed, and a complete absence of healing.

It's in battles like these that the true essence of Splinterlands shines through, where the choices made in the heat of battle can turn the tide in an instant. For this test of wits and strategy, I called upon a formidable ally, Grandmaster Rathe. With abilities that complement the rulesets brilliantly, Rathe offers a layer of protection to my units with his armor, transforming them into magical powerhouses while boosting their Thorn's damage. The board was displayed as shown in the figure:

Just a couple of thoughts:

  1. Will miss Runi when he becomes my farmer. Runi is a master of this kind of rulesets and helps lots granting victories being immune to thorns.
  2. If there's a match where you can choose an MVP, take a look at the Magi of Chaos performance. Oppress is the kind of ability you don't value enough until you see it on the battlefield. Enjoy the battle

Jared losing his favorite game

Sometimes it's difficult to choose the right formation. If there's a battle ruleset that every splinterlands player is tempted to play Jared is Opportunity. With this ruleset, you can place Jared protected on the battlefield a allow him to snowball. In some low mana rulesets, Jared can be countered with a well-planned army. I faced a 17 mana, Opportunity, and Armored up and the board looked as follows:

image.png

  1. Blinding reflector is a fantastic frontline, brings one of the best debuffs in the game with blind, and has a defensive toolkit that surprises enemies.
  2. Take a look at how I planned to attract enemy attacks. First, he would take my fiend, and with my vulguine scavenge triggering, would choose Marksrat, buffing Vulguine and Harpy. This game is about details and with Opportunity, you can order enemy attacks.
  3. I would like to share with you how fantastic Dax Paragon is. He has a fantastic synergy with all Life units, amplifying Pelacors and Reflectings Magic reflects, Denying heals with Affliction, and giving some magical damage. Enjoy the battle

SPS Staking progress

Through dedication and unwavering effort, I've achieved a significant milestone in my Splinterlands journey – I've now stacked an impressive 70,000 SPS. Every single battle, each intense tournament, and my cherished guild brawls have played a vital role in reaching this milestone. But it doesn't end here.

My sights are firmly set on an even greater goal – the coveted 100,000 SPS. With every card played, every strategic decision, and every match, I'm taking deliberate steps toward this major milestone.
