Personal investment organization on Hive

avatar

Hello everyone!! šŸ‘»šŸ‘»šŸ‘»

This time I present to you a post about how I am organizing my investments in the Hive blockchain. In my opinion, the investment cycle has 4 phases as I show you in the diagram (a first initial investment, the daily activity associated with gaming, the assets that I have managed to generate, and finally what is most important to me: passive income ):

Initial inversion

This is perhaps the part that scares people the most: the initial investment. Generally, we all ask ourselves questions such as: Is it a reliable project? How will Crypto Winter affect me? Can I lose the investment? Like everything in life, to obtain benefits, you must take risks. I would tell these people to only spend what they can afford to lose.

In my case, I entered Splinterlands in September 2021 (oh happy day!), and I've gathered information about their project like their white paper about SPS. I found out that it is the #1 blockchain game with almost 600k in the last 30 days Dappradar and also found out that it is supported on Hive (the gaming blockchain). I've been playing for a while and loved how fast the battles are the tactical depth and the endless possibilities like tournaments and guild fights.

In all this period I have decided to invest $200 in cards and DEC tokens and $2000 for 500 packs of Chaos legion that I am going to hold until all the airdrops are revealed and maybe more. At the same time, I will be increasing the packs to have guaranteed airdrops.

Also and during the last month, I ended up playing a game that didn't catch my attention at first but that has me hooked more and more: Rising Star. What I liked the most about the game is that it's in the same blockchain as Splinterlands: Hive (all tokens, investments, and blockchain tools are the same for both games). It consists of carrying out missions that will take your character to the race to stardom: Rising Star. The great advantage of this game is that it does not require much time. Requires organization and less than 30 minutes a day is more than enough. My initial investment consisted of 2 pizza boxes and a slice of pizza for almost $7

Daily activity

As a second point, I would like to talk about the most important resource that we all have: time. Playing #play2earn games has an indisputable part of the leisure and one, at least in equal parts, of work. Every day I do the Rising Star missions to continue accumulating cards and increasing the number of Starbits I generate. At the same time, I do my quests in Splinterlands to get the desired NFT's. Currently, I have already managed to accumulate 28K of CP and I am in Silver3. All CLegion packs will allow me to move my ranking up. Can't w8 to open them when all airdrops are revealed.

But the most differential part of the #Hive environment is not the games but the community. In mid-October, I learned about what generating content consisted of and how I could generate income from posts in tribes such as #splintertalk, #oneup, #peakd #leofinance, and the last great birth of $THGaming belonging to the #THGaming guild - A #Playtoearn Guild obsessed with #NFT blockchain #Gaming - I joined this guild recently and encourage all players who want to take play2earn seriously to do so (talent is permanently recruited in THG). I leave you the link of our community. All this effort has resulted in generating about $10 a week posting about #Splinterlands and soon #RisingStar. Besides, it has allowed me to meet fabulous people like @jim-crypto, @synist3r, @gs-luca, @geas, @jbtc19warrior, @besfriend, @lasthera, and many others!

Assets management

In asset management I just have a very simple philosophy: accumulate, accumulate and accumulate. I have a great advantage: my investment horizon is two/three years ahead and I am enjoying the journey (I enjoy the missions, I enjoy posting and I don't have skittish hands afraid to sell at the first drop).
If I had invested everything that I have invested in play2win in play2earn, I would now drive a Rolls Royce around my city. In all this time I have accumulated the 500 Chaos Legion packs, more than 150 #Splinterlands cards valued at $250, and 18 rising star cards valued at about $10. I will continue to accumulate until the end of time.
As the next objective, I want to learn card flipping to maximize the benefits, but it is a learning which I am not in a hurry to acquire.

Passive incomes

This is the icing on the cake, the most important part that makes the previous three make so much more sense, squaring the circle.
My initial investment and my daily activity have allowed me to acquire assets. Having these assets hosted on Hive provides me with tools that, just by owning them, generate passive income for me. To become rich one day, the key is to make money while you sleep. This is called passive income. To this day, all my #Splinterlands assets earn me 16$SPS, 0.1$Voucher for doing absolutely nothing. This today is about $2.5.
The next part of my passive income focuses on how I have invested all the money I have generated creating content and a half of more investment. I have acquired different tokens from Hive and I have taken them to the liquidity pools as I show you:

image.png

If you don't know what is a LP:

A liquidity pool is a crowdsourced pool of cryptocurrencies or tokens locked in a smart contract that is used to facilitate trades between the assets on a decentralized exchange (DEX). Instead of traditional markets of buyers and sellers, much decentralized finance (Defi) platforms use automated market makers (AMMs), which allow digital assets to be traded in an automatic and permissionless manner through the use of liquidity pools via

Here is the [information](https://peakd.com/hive-184309/@thgaming/dollarthgaming-liquidity-pool-hive-engine-tokens-added-to-the-rewards-pool-psyberx-and-the alliance-join-the-party-dollarlvl-do) about my main LP between Swap. Hive: gaming

As always, this is not a financial assessment. Everyone has to take his/her risks/decisions and only spend money that you can afford to lose.

Feel free to post any questions / more info you need about any single point of the post. Take care!

Nicely written, What i have learned from Playtoearn is there is a point where you get to the game that starts earning you a lot more, With RS for example this is lvl 50.

yeah primary for the millionaire quest as getting 10k bit a day helps progression a lot so as a footnote and with prices atm be sure to save up enough to have million ready for when you hit lvl 50

This is what i do and in regards to this game im lvl 52 is i do a 50/50 split so half goes back into RS thorough new cards, record staking and other things like that. the other half gets added to the other funds that are increasing my holding into other projects im involved in. PLus you shouldn't stop investing back as the more cards you have the better your account is value and it wouldn't stop you playing the game later either when the rewards go up as well
