Splinterrents - activate passive earnings today

In this post I will share a fantastic service that is available for all splinterlands players. It automates rental market management, saves a lot of time, and allows every one of us to activate passive incomes (the most important aspect of every investment). I will also write a tutorial showing how easy it was for me and present my initial and surprising first income. Hope you enjoy it!

A little bit of personal history first

I've been playing this wonderful game for almost a year. I was born in Barcelona in the early '80s. I passed my whole childhood being one of the kids of the Stranger Things band, playing D&D and... Magic the Gathering. If I had kept all the cards that I had in my decks maybe I would be driving a Tesla today. But I was young and I had no perspective on investment. Then, a year before, I discovered Splinterlands as a gate to the #Hive world (the blockchain for 3.0 web). I didn't know much about NFTs, posts, Hive Power, 3rd party services, and community. If a word describes this fantastic world is community. Although Splinterlands is one of the most competitive games I've ever played, the community is always ready to give a helping hand and I hope this post contributes to opening your eyes as I did before joining @splinterrents

What's Splinterrents about?

During almost this year playing Splinterlands, I've managed to acquire a more than 1k card collection. Unluckily I joined at the very end of untamed (I wish I had joined only 6 months b4!!). I think that every single Splinterlands player has the feeling that he/she has discovered this joy very late. But you can think the other way round, and imagine new players that are to come. This feeling has made me think that my collection was not worth renting. And this was my mistake. Either because I had no time, or because I didn't understand the market, I was losing a passive income that can make a difference. Some days ago I activated the @splinterrents service to perform this rental market management for me and received really interesting earnings from the first day.

Service information & Setup

One of the strongest points from Splinterrents is that the configuration and setup are really easy. First of all, I would recommend everyone to join their Discord, as the whole service is managed through this channel, sending commands to your new assistant SplinterRents bot. Once there the steps are:

1. Send $register (+ referral code - I would ask if you consider entering my one if you have discovered this service thanks to this post $register 326236525476184064) to SplinterRents bot -> in this step you need to register your user in Discord.
2. Grant posting authority to the account: splinterrents. This is the only step done outside Splinterrents. You can grant posting authority by following the next steps:
   Go to peakd.com and log in -> click on your name -> click my blog -> click account actions -> click keys & permissions -> click authorities
   -> click add new authority -> select POSTING role and as recipient account: splinterrents -> click confirm -> sign transaction.

You will only give permissions to Splinterrents with a Posting Key, this means that the bot is not allowed to sign any transactions to transfer value OUT of your account, just for renting.

1. Send $add account name (Hive) to SplinterRents bot
2. Send $activate account name (Hive) to SplinterRents bot

And finally, configure settings if the default settings are not satisfying you.

First income balance

Sending $status to the bot gives you information about how the service is going with daily updates. The balance from my first day surprised me a lot!

So, I had around 690 DEC in earnings 'daily wasted' because I did not pay enough time and attention. And the update of the second day is surprising me much more! 850 DEC from 1,5K and a 50% ROA (try to search this ROA in other investments ). Finally, the fee of the service is 5% of your income can be paid daily or weekly as everyone prefers. I gladly paid my first 34 DEC to @splinterrents.

Hive Power needs

The last thing that one has to consider before activating the service is the Hive Power requirements. It is about 0,15 HP / card on the default settings. I activated the service for 1000 cards needing 150 HP when I only had 35 available. Had to fuel up a bit but it has been worth the effort. I prefer ending the day being down at HP and with earnings, that with 100% HP and no earnings.
