Splinterlands - Add SPS Burned and SPS DAO metrics to the SPS Management dashboard

avatar

The Splintershards (SPS) tokenomics are improving with a clear focus from the team to strengthen their value. And one mechanic to do that is true burning tokens which are expected to happen with SPS Node Validators and other launches like Riftwatchers - Splintershards (SPS) Token Updates.

On the demand side of the equation - we want to remind everyone that the validator node license sale is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks which is expected to burn vast amounts of SPS tokens over many years as well as the upcoming release of the Riftwatchers mini-edition (expected in Q3 2022) which is planned to ONLY be purchasable with SPS, all of which will go to the DAO to be managed by the token holders.

With this in mind, I believe that another metric needs to be added to the SPS Management dashboard and that is the amount of SPS Burned. This will offer a transparent view of the tokenomics affecting the SPS Supply and should build trust with the users, gamers, and investors who will see all the mechanics put behind it. On top of that, the SPS holders have a share of the DAO, and reflecting this metric on top of the other should offer another piece of information about their investment in the game. Thus, I am hoping to see that added to the SPS Management dashboard as well.

The path is clear and we see things evolving as per the white book for Splitershards with more information being provided to the users, it should simply show proof of the strong plan for the project and encourage long-time holders like myself. When things are not displayed, it is easy to lose faith or try to understand what's happening if you are not anchored day after day in the project, thus the more information we get is for the better. I wonder what are your thoughts in this regard and other pieces of information you would like to be added to the SPS Management dashboard.

Come join the good fight in Splinterlands and forge yourself a destiny!

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

I kind of miss the days when Splinterlands was easy, you could quickly buy a pack of cards and open it like pull tabs, without buying potions and understanding 5 tokens.

You could play a few rounds when bored and pick up a few DEC.

I just am not passionate enough about it to play at the level it is at now and to keep up with all the changes.

I bought some cards when they released Chaos and have those that hold enough value rented out. The Splinterlands team is awesome, so I am not being critical when I say, I think they should simplify the experience and focus on allowing new and young players to feel some success. Good games always give people lots of little goals and missions so there is a continued sense of progress.

Yeah, things are getting more complex, and handling all the management activities besides the fun in the game simply takes more time. But they keep on developing, they have a great roadmap and I think it is one of the few games which are truly delivering on their promises.

As they are in a steep growing phase things will only get more hectic, but once that phase is completed I am sure they will try to simplify things and make the flows more fluid.

I think this is because of the competition. When the traction was lesser, the entry level and the other enablements were really viable I must say.

Wow, that's a lot of SPS you've got there, wow. I'm looking forward to seeing how they intend to make it even more attractive in-game.

Actually, I have 10 sweet PLOTs bought with my Guild. Will get them probably when the LAND NFTs will be available or so.

I don't really know if burning SPS is the right option as I think there could have been other things they can do. However, I do think the current supply is too large and we still don't have enough use cases for SPS. SPS can definitely boom if implemented correctly.

I think having multiple mechanics including burning can only help with SPS tokenomics. More use cases, more action on the token value and price.
