Splinterlands - Conqueror Jacek airdrop keeps on giving on Chaos Legion packs investment
Chaos Legion took by storm the entire Splinterlands and fighters from all over the realm made sure they got a fair share of it. And so did I with around 541 packs purchased which entitled me to good participation in the airdrops for each 1M packs sold. And these days as we have surpassed 10M Chaos Legion packs sold (incredible if you can imagine that!!!), a new airdrop felt from the sky as the Conqueror Jacek, a Legendary Fire Summoner. And I must confess that luck shined on me as I got 3x Conqueror Jacek cards.
Conqueror Jacek, a Legendary Fire Summoner, is valued currently on the market at $26 and considering that I have been luckily airdropped 3 cards that would mean $78. Not too bad for just investing earlier in the Chaos Legions presale. And do you want me to tell you the truth? I have invested using DEC that I have earned in the game and that means that everything I get is all profit. If that is not amazing, I don't know what else it is?!?!
As we are traversing a crypto winter and the market is quite down affecting also the Splinterlands assets like cards, packs and DEC or SPS tokens, I will not be selling in this period. Playing the game regularly from the initial 541 packs bought in the presale and a bit later, I have got to 639 packs currently. My big goal was to reach 1,000 packs by the Chaos Legion sale but I think that's too daring for the current pace. If I get to 700 packs that would be a great achievement. Once that happens I will be waiting to sell the packs at around $10, but I might consider also a $5 if the market is stale. But if also the crypto space will rejuvenate itself, we might see more value transcending into Splinterland and the CL packs as well. I will just HODL for the moment.

I think it's awesome that you were able to grow your account using the sweat equity of just playing the game. Splinterlands is the jewel in Hive's crown and is a fun onramp to the blockchain.

I don't have any CL cards in my collection as all my packs are locked in aiming to sell them after they deplete from the market. Still is a gamble on how it will play out...

Jacek is definitely a nice card! I was lucky and got 1 of them which was good, now to get it leveled up! Fire is one of my better elements so it only makes sense to get this card up there too!
