57 days of pack staking reward left

The timeline for pack staking reward has been released and we know now that there will only be 57 days to go. So, if you have plans to get involved, now is the time to throw your hat in the pool and start earning GLX tokens.

The Genesis league goals platform keeps receiving updates as we head towards the launch of the game. There is palpable excitement due to the launch and this is reflecting on the price of GLX token.

The question I keep asking myself as we head towards the launch of the game is, do I have enough packs? With 82 currently in my collection, I feel like it is not a significant number that will offer me enough profit in the long run.

One thing we know for sure is that when this pack eventually goes out of print and is no longer readily available, the price will go up. On top of that, it is also likely that the launch of another collection will have the same effect on the pack.

Over the years, I've learnt from Splinterlands that time is the great pump. All you need to do is wait long enough and you will see your asset prices move up.

Genesis League goals is still a relatively young project with relatively young investors, so despite being a Splinterlands project, we might not necessarily see things progress in exactly the same way they did with Splinterlands.

It will be interesting to see the initial reaction in the market after the game is launched. Many are expecting a mini bull run but I don't it will be that straightforward.

The quality

When it comes to new projects that are releasing their first actual product, it is really hard to predict how things will turn out. There are a couple of factors that are harboured by the unknown and only time can reveal them.

One thing that time will definitely reveal is the actual game that is coming soon. I don't have specifics but we were told that we should expect it in the second quarter of the year.

The quality of the game goes beyond colours and graphics, by the way. However, these aspects will of course be scrutinized and will play a role in how the game is perceived by the general public.

The real decider will be the public's perception and the level of marketing that the game gets. I've found that once the public like your product, it really doesn't matter how well it is initially, your project will be successful.

Look at games like Axie infinity, for example, that the gameplay frankly looks like a low effort 8-bit game but at one point was worth billions of dollars. This value was largely down to the public's appreciation of the game, rather than the actual gameplay.

Genesis League Goals has the added advantage of being part of a partnership with Major league soccer players association. Now I know football(soccer) isn't America's number one sport but a marketing campaign with the said soccer association could have serious benefits for the project and Hive as a whole.
