A few days to Genesis League Goals closed Beta launch
In case you haven't heard the news, Genesis League Goals will officially be launched on the 18th of July. That's only 5 days from now and all things considered, I'd say it is a perfect time to launch.
There hasn't been much to celebrate during this horrific period for the crypto market but the launch of the much-anticipated Football based game will put a smile on our faces. Once the launch is confirmed, all the worries about the game will be put to bed as investors can now get an idea about how the game will look.
I've been watching closely as this project unfolds and I'm pleased to see that they're sticking with the schedule. This confirmed launch date will go a long way in alleviating all the worries that the community has had to carry throughout the past couple of months.
What we know is that investors that bought 100 or more packs will have closed beta access to the game. Right now, I'm not sure if I qualify because I believe I bought 100 packs but I didn't buy all of them in-game, so I don't think I'll be among the early-access players.
According to news in the discord, the soft launch on the 18th will last for one week, so you need to get into the groove as soon as possible. The launch will precede a hard launch at the end of July where we will see more features.
This soft launch(Closed Beta launch) will last roughly one week to test out gameplay, make any changes needed, etc, prior to the hard launch of the game! What this means is that on the 18th, gameplay will be out, but limited to those who qualified for closed beta. Additionally, team management will also be released and available to everyone on July 18th. On the hard launch of the game, additional elements such as substitutions, a new homepage design, the next phase of pack sale and potentially a new user flow for account creation will be released. This secondary launch is planned to be out by the end of July.
Even though I won't play, I'll still be looking out to see videos and social media interactions about the closed-beta game. Through the eyes of early investors, we will all be able to get a general feel of the game and prepare our minds for what is to come.
A good time to launch
The Beta launch date had been communicated to the public a long time ago but I have to say, the timing is going to be beneficial for the community.
The way I see it, launching right now when there's a generally positive sentiment about the crypto market could be the start of a local rally for tokens associated with the game.
Other than the GLX token, GLGT seems to have responded kindly to the inklings of the wider crypto market, climbing up from as low as 1.5 cents to 5 cents mark today. Interestingly, I don't think this is even close to the end of the pump for the token because I believe that due to its relatively smaller supply with GLX token, it is possible that the token could reach levels above $1.
I expect to see some changes in the website and get further information about what to expect on the 18th. I don't think the Beta access players will earn GLX from testing the game but all will be made clear after the launch.

I have beta access to the game, as I bought 100 packs. I sold them all, but I suppose I will play the game when it is launched. And I have several player cards. Let's see what it will look like.
