LVL, Starter kit and more Chaos Legion packs

The new NFT in the Chaos Legion collection has been unveiled to the public. This action is often preceded by the sale of packs crossing the halfway mark.

In this case, we're referring to 500K units of the packs or roughly $2 million worth of packs that have been minted on Splinterlands. At the time of writing, I've only gotten a total of 571 packs.

I still have plans to get another 500 packs but I'll tweak my plans a little bit to accommodate my current financial situation.

I originally planned to buy 500 packs in one transaction, to enable me get 75 bonus packs, instead of 50 from buying in 100s. However, I don't think I'll be able to achieve this target because of the current situation of the market.

So, instead, I'll just work with what is available now and that will be to buy 100 packs, then get 10 bonus packs. I'm taking this approach to ensure that I stand a chance of benefiting from the next airdropped monster in the collection.

There's no assurance that I'll get the airdropped monster but there's also no harm in trying. My chances are quite low, with all things considered.

By the time the next monster is airdropped, 1 million packs would have been sold. 110 packs hardly places me in a position of power. I'm basically just trying to squeeze through a tight space crowded out by fat wallets.

Psyber X progress

The Psyber X team has been running campaigns in the background, as we slowly edge towards a developmental milestone in the project.

Just two days ago, the sale of the starter kit that comes with land and other cool NFTs was successful. Actually, the sales are still going on now, so you can contact the @psyberx account for more details.

I managed to get my hand on one starter kit for a start. I intend to buy another one during the week.

The @psyberx account also announced that every account that purchased one starter kit will be rewarded an extra small plot of land NFT. I guess they were touched(appropriately) by the hive community's reception and rewarded us with NFTs.

Other than this NFT, we're also expecting the Psyber X marketplace to be launched by the end of Q1, 2022. To be on the safe side, you can also just keep a flexible range of expectations that spills into the beginning of Q2.

Keep calm and accumulate

One of my recent targets for this year was to get my LVL holding up to 200K before the game is launched. COnsidering the game is scheduled to be launched by the end of the year, and the price of LVL right now, I'll need a miracle to raise funds for this venture.

Not one to be perturbed by shortcoming, I've been dollar cost averaging into LVL in small bits. Nothing spectacular, just a couple thousand tokens every week.

Last week, I ended up with about 36K tokens, instead of 40K. When some of my posts payout, I'll have spare funds to put into LVL and Splinterlands credit.

By the end of this week, I should be on my way to 50K LVL tokens and I also should have raised $400 to buy 100 Chaos Legion packs.

At the time of writing, I'm only $100 away from raising $400 for packs. In like 4 days, I should have enough vouchers to cover the ten bonus packs that I get for buying 100 packs.
