More utility for GLX and delicious salvation

It's been a long old time since this news came out but it looks like GLUSD and GLX got extra utility. Based on the last time I checked the price of the token though, it doesn't seem like there's been any effect on the price.

Perhaps it is once again hard to gauge whether changes in the game and token utility have had any effect on the price because of the general state of the market. There's been a noticeable bearish divergence that looks to have had an unwanted effect on the general market and GLX isn't immune to this.

Then again, it's not like Splinterlands has been hitting the headlines either, as our favourite Blockchain game continues to struggle. The weight of the bearishness in the market has been too much to handle and this has made it difficult for anything affiliated with the game to succeed.

Anyway, seeing GLX get extra utility is still good for viewing. It is also nice to see another link being created between the games.

We all know that Splinterlands and Genesis League sports are eternally linked because it is basically the same team behind the development of both projects. So, it is very likely that we will be seeing more situations where assets from one game cross over to the other.

For hive, at least, this is very good news, as it means that there will be a growing gaming community that have a shared interest. Many will already be aware of what goes on in the community and the new faces that come for Genesis League sports will catch up muck quicker because they're already mingling with battle hardened Hive citizens that have been playing Splinterlands.

Bullish Bear

The general feeling in the wider crypto community is that this bearishness is the calm before the storm. Many believe that we are on the cusp of something special and the reds in the market are only a bump on the road.

It's hard to gauge the entire market and even harder to make any sense from the charts. All I can do is hope for better days to come.

There are still lingering conversations about a traditional face melting pump on the horizon and to protect myself, I try not to inhale too much hopium. However, as the bear market persists and takes us through different stages of pain, it is hard not to think that our salvation is somewhere down the line and it is going to be absolutely delicious.
