Over $1500 24 hour trading voulme is a nice start

After a bit over 24 hours of NFT trading in Genesis League Goals marketplace, there has been a bit over $1500 worth of trading activity. The marketplace estimates that there has been exactly $1560.99 worth of trade and most importantly, none of that has been my cards.

I put a decent number of assets into the market but things haven't quite gone as I hoped they would by now. However, I will continue watching the numbers and market, hoping I manage to get a nibble in the coming days.

I think I'll have to be patient because, unlike Splinterlands market where there's utility for the assets, we still haven't got that now. I reckon that most of the buyers of NFT cards in GLG are just speculating based on the limited information available.

Despite all the information in the whitepaper, we can't truly know what to expect beyond the fact that old foils will be rarer than normal foils. Everything else is still up in the air since the quality of assets will be heavily dependent on strategy, despite their raw stats.

The launch of the game will go a long way in boosting marketplace activities and for that, I say, please hurry up guys. At the same time, please make a game that is absolutely addictive and will lead to insane trading numbers that will make opening packs worth it in both the short and long term.

Future value is going to be huge

The value of assets in Genesis League goals is only a reflection of people's perception of the said asset and the raw stat. In fact, the raw stat plays a secondary role, if you ask me, as I think most valuations are based on the owners' feelings.

Despite hoping for some nibbles in the market, I still think that the future value of the assets in my collection will make a big splash. as the game evolves and Genesis league goals becomes more popular.

I also think that a bull market could have a net positive effect on the card trading market. Whenever the bulls come around, the value has a way of trickling down into numerous crevices and I believe a game like GLG will definitely be one of the beneficiaries.

The only reason I am hoping for some sales now is that I'm raising money for our relocation plans and I also want to invest a bit of it into packs that I'll open. At the time of writing, I have opened a total of 63 packs while 30 remain staked for the foreseeable future.

When pack staking reward end, I'll have to find a way to keep those packs away from my itchy fingers and not open them. I'd like to hold on to them for a couple of years and see how much value I can derive from them in the future.

All things considered, GLG is off to a good start and with so much more to come, investors should brace themselves for something big. All of this will be dependent on the quality of the game, marketing and how the general public perceives the effort. Fingers crossed.

What I like about Genesis League Sports and Goals is that the characters from the platform are real humans which should stop overwhelming the game with fictions NFTs. I hope the cards supply will stay low enough in order to preserve and even improve value over time.
