Splinterlands is more rewarding than it has ever been

The changes in the daily and seasonal quest approach had led to a lot of conversations about how rewarding Splinterlands will be. However, based on my experience alone, I think the game as a whole, is going to receive a major boost in reputation.

Based on the current trend, Splinterlands players that spend more time in the game, are set to receive a lot more rewards for their effort. As a recent beneficiary of the improvement, I'm extremely pleased by this development.

Yesterday, I had a Life daily focus and after hours of consistent play, I ended up earning a total of ten reward chests. The reward chest had almost 1K worth of DEC and a couple of reward monsters in the mix.

For people who simply came online to farm rewards, these changes might not exactly be good news for them. In the past, all you had to do was win 5 battles with the preset daily quest and you'd earn a specific amount of chests.

Thanks to the recent change, you earn more for playing more with your daily focus requirement. This means that Splinterlands is really emphasizing the "play to earn" mantra by rewarding active players of the game.

More play time

This change in the way daily and seasonal quests are paid out will inevitably lead to more Splinterlands traffic in the long run. This will also lead to an increased demand for Splinterlands monsters, in the long run.

This change has reinvigorated my interest in playing Splinterlands. In the past 24 hours, for example, I think I participated in more ranked battles than I've done in over a year.

There are probably other players looking at the situation and thinking the same as me. Which in turn will lead to even more competition in the game but that's a welcomed development, if you ask me.

There's also the little matter of the immense network effect that this could lead to, in the long run. In the past 7 days, Splinterlands has been at the top spot and in 30 days, it was the second most played blockchain game, according to Dapp Radar.

In fact, overall, Splinterlands is one of the most used blockchain applications in the world. From all indications, things are set to remain the same and when many other players catch on to the change, the numbers are bound to go up.

On top of all that, I think Splinterlands is making a concious effort to improve earning for actual players and discourage bots. However, bot operators are very creative, so I know they'll eventually catch on but before they do, humans are set to reap the benefits of this new change.

At the end of the day, the take-home from this whole thing is that, despite the current successes of the game, Splinterlands is still a work in process and there's still so much more to come.

As we grow in blockchain the more it make sense every crypto sector with time will grow better and more user friendly.

It has been tough but am gradually adapting to the change, I like the season rewards system though as I can just keep accumulation points towards that.

Just wondering why rentals is so low.
