Splinterlands Musing: EOS Reward and Grandmaster Rathe Chart

I sat in front of my computer screen watching the ticker count down to the end of the Splinterlands season. It was a season that came with unexpected blessings and one major resurgence in my daily gameplay that brought me a lot of luck down the road.

I started the season quite slowly but built up a head of steam and ended strongly with 70 chests. The 70 chests offered a variety of rewards that included one gold foil and one of the new legendary monsters in the game.

The reward legendaries are kind of weak and their market value is quite underwhelming for monsters of this rarity. The Legendaries have also been few and far in between at Gold level but I guess that can be expected.

I reckon players in higher leagues will definitely be receiving better rewards from their chests. Please feel free to drop a link to any post where you talk about your end of season rewards as well.

Remember Grandmaster Rathe?

Grandmaster rather emerged as the latest monster to join my collection. I was fortunate to receive three of the monster from the recent airdrop and I've contemplated the next step to take with the monster.

Anyway, it turns out that the Grandmaster is the life summoner with the highest win rate, according to data derived from Summoner Lab. At a 75% win rate, it might be a good fit for your collection.

According to data from the charts on Summoner Lab, the price of the monster peaked at around $25 since the day of the airdrop. It has since dropped to $20 some days after the airdrop.

For a legendary summoner, I reckon $20 is a decent price. However, just as with a lot of freshly airdropped cards, it is very possible that the price continues to drop for another couple of days.

My worst-case price range for the summonera is $15 as bear market price but that will be short-lived if it actually ever gets to that level. In any case, I think this is a monster with immense potential and one that could be upwards of $50 in the future.

Longer season

The new season has once again started quite slowly for me because of my other exertions. I reckon that somewhere along the line, I'll get busy to start stacking packs.

I did notice that the SPlinterlands season is somewhat longer than it usually use to be. 4 more days were added to the number of days in the season, thus increasing the brawling period and giving each player more room to max out their rewards.

I'll keep grinding as always to derive maximum value from Splinterlands. Some days are better than others but I keep grinding. See you on the battlefield.
