SPS pump, Waka Spritblade and Hive stat

SPS has been quiet for a while now and that's as a result of the state of the general market. Naturally, we'd have loved it if the price was higher than it is today but sometimes, it's good to take a step back.

In the past coupe of days, the price of SPS token has experienced a resurgence of sorts, as it slowly creeps up to 20 cents. For an asset that was closer to $1, seeing it as this rate is really frustrating but that's how the game goes.

Everybody around here knows that we're in a marathon and not a sprint, so there will be these periods. Anyway, I can't say for sure if this leg up is the start of something beautiful or if it's just going to be one of those short-lived pseudo-pumps.

I can hardly even call 15 cents a pump. The price is even lower than the 18 cents that I thought it will never drop below.

I reckon that the best move, for now, is to ignore the pump, keep your token staked and get those vouchers. There's really no point in selling now, especially if the sales won't lead to more SPS tokens.

Personally, I was considering converting some SPS tokens to Credits, so I can buy packs. However, I decided to wait a bit before pulling le triggeur because I feel like a fraud converting over 300 SPS tokens for just $50.

At the time of writing, my voucher mining activity is going quite well. I'm up to 14 vouchers now, so that means I should be looking at buying 140 packs and as the days go by, the number rises.

I have to be looking to stack up somewhere around $800 in the coming days to enable me to 200 packs. Right now, the only way I can see myself getting that money is if I sell some of my monsters.

Unfortunately, the price of monsters isn't encouraging either and right now, I can't even afford to sell any. Taking out anybody from this team right now will really hurt my team's mojo, so I won't be doing that.

Waka bringing the flame to death

Word from the Townhall meeting is that Splinterlands will be introducing a limited edition monster that will only come in max level. It will be in the likeness of Waka Flocka Flame.

Here's a video of him on Youtube. I'm not really a huge fan or anything but I've known him for a long time.

I think it is really good to see Splinterlands doing this sort of marketing. I checked Waka's Twitter page and didn't see him tweeting about it but I guess that's because things aren't in an advanced stage yet.

Waka Flocka currently has a Twitter with 1.8 million followers and other pages that also have a lot of followers. It would be really interesting to see him shilling Splinterlands at some point.

This sort of marketing will definitely rub off some positive on Hive. Imagine how cool it'll be if he gets a Splinterlands/hive account and gets active in the community. Now that'll be big.

Hive-engine moving right

My plan was to use my earnings from Hive-engine to cover our monthly needs and so far so good, I'm on track. I've resisted the urge to stake the funds or reinvest it because I want to see what comes out at the end of the month.

If this month goes really well, I should be staking half of everything I earn from publishing and then keeping the other half to handle our expenses.

Thanks to the Hive Stats, I'll be able to easily track my earnings on hive engine easier. The updated site offers more details and insight into your account activities.

On Hive stats, you can also see some information about Cub farming, in case you're considering it. Overall, it is a useful tool that you can use to learn and improve your activities around here.

I am awaiting the second wave of value increase in Splinterland assets, mainly on SPS. Infrastructure development about the DAO is going on. When the end of the airdrop will come closer, I hope that the SPS price will gain strength.

Same here. I think marketing projects like the Waka summoner will go a long way. We'll probably have more like this before the end of the airdrop. I reckon a listing is also possible

I haven't really been paying too much attention to the SPS price either. I just keep staking when I have about 1000 saved up and then wait until I can stake again. Eventually it will pay off for me.

Hi @belemo

I must admit the price of SPS is something I try not to think about...

In the past coupe of days, the price of SPS token has experienced a resurgence of sorts, as it slowly creeps up to 20 cents. For an asset that was closer to $1, seeing it as this rate is really frustrating but that's how the game goes.

I think my basis is around 80 cents, so I am upside down.
I didn't know of any use for the vouchers, so I started unstaking SPS in SPlinterlands and staking it on Cubfinance for a better APR, as I wanted to accumulate it.

Now that I know about this...

Word from the Townhall meeting is that Splinterlands will be introducing a limited edition monster that will only come in max level. It will be in the likeness of Waka Flocka Flame.

I have mixed feelings.
I love the marketing push to do this, it's wonderful.
I don't know if I will have enough SPS to matter, because I haven'ty gotten any rewat=rd cards from the drops, so assuming it's my small fish in a big ocean status, I need to read up on this more, before moving my SPS back to earn vouchers.

Lastly, this...

Man your living the dream! :)

Now just stay away from the Police ! :(

Aja! Aja! Belemo!

In English thats "Fighting Fighting" the translation is weak, but it really means "keep working hard to live the dream. Our small successes make the struggle worth it."

Take Care, be safe and be well.

I'm curious of the details of the contract and how much he will shill having his own NFT card in a game. If he does that it could be huge. Not sure how many eyes will get on the concert I mean everyone's gonna be freakin lit and drunk sooo lol

This Waka Flaja Move is great! This could be the start of something big, if he plays the game and enjoys it.
