Thoughts about returning to Splinterlands
I spent the past couple of months liquidating Splinterlands assets to fund our relocation. Now we're officially out of the country, I think it is time for me to start plotting how I'll get back to playing regularly.
For what it's worth, we're out of Nigeria and have moved into our own place but I don't think it is safe to say that we've fully settled in. I am still unemployed and while there are prospects, nothing counts until I'm actually employed.
Anyway, coming back to Splinterlands will require making some changes in my life. I don't know what it is now but there will definitely be alternatives forgone to achieve the return.
At this moment, Hive is still my only source of income and everything that comes into my account is moved to savings for rainy day. In the past, rainy day was hypothetical but right now, it really feels like a distinct possibility.
The plan has always been to reduce my dependence on hive for sustenance and that'll only happen when I earn my first pay cheque in the UK. This way, I'll be able to redirect all my Hive income towards Splinterlands assets.
Left behind
I reckon that my return to Splinterlands will largely feel like rehabilitation. A lot has happened along the way and I'll have a lot of catching up to do.
I've been watching proceedings from a safe distance and it really feels like every time I refresh the page, there's a new development. There's so much I have to figure out before I can get back into the game.
The factors to consider keep changing and this is where the real challenge will be for me. For example, the last time I played Splinterlands, collection power was the only real consideration to determine what level and how much you can earn.
I'm not entirely sure about what is considered these days but I know that the game has technically moved past collection power and other things like SPS stake are now more important. Soul-bound monsters have also become very important.
Speaking of Soul bound monsters, it also looks like Gladius monsters have found their way into standard ranked play. The last time I played, Gladius monsters only featured in guild brawls.
Assets like DEC, DEC-B credits and other tokens would have also experienced some changes. The point is that there's a lot I have to catch up with and all the changes will play a role in how I spread my resources around the game.

Feel bad to heard your story that you are struggling taking your life and still you are unemployment. Hope you will able to settle soon. Yup! Hive is providing lots of opportunity to the people who is looking for employment. If someone is able to explore his talent then Hive is not less than any employment.
Splinterland that's probing the best gaming platform with play2earn. The people who invested in earlier time getting lots of benefit in the form of airdrops/apr even some other assets. I have already got over than 15k sps from airdrop and this time also getting some SPS from ranked battle and holding SPS. No doubts it's return is a very good.
