My First Splinterlands Update

Welcome to my first Splinterlands update post. I joined the game back in April with about a $50 investment. $10 to the spellbook, $20 for cards, and $20 in land. Knowing what I know now, I would have invested significantly more in land and card packs back when they were abundant. I was making really good progress as a mostly free to play player until the growth spike occurred over the summer. I've been posting about my journey on Rising Star. It has been fun to do, so I've decided to start posting about my Splinterlands journey as a mostly free to play player.
My current stats:

As you can see, I'm currently hanging out in Silver. I've rented some cards, but with the rental prices fairly high right now I'm waiting to cash in some of my DEC for Chaos Legion packs. I made a few pushes to gold in the past by renting some power. The rewards were good (50ish DEC/win), but the cost of rentals made the amount of time I needed to spend playing a little too much for me. I'm currently earning in the 7ish DEC/win range which is sustainable until I can pick up some more collection power. Maybe I'll get lucky on some chest rewards along the way as well.
Here are my airdrop stats:

I've been able to stake enough SPS to purchase 4 Chaos Legion packs with vouchers. I've decided the voucher price is too high to justify paying for more without investing a significant amount of money into the game. I'm going to try and wait for public sale and use my DEC balance to pick up a fairly significant amount of packs.
Here were my daily quest rewards:

Only two chests a day isn't a lot, but its at least an opportunity to pick up some cards. The DEC was negligible, but I am always happy to add another card to my collection.
Thanks for reading my post. I'll try to do at least one a week. Let me know if there is any other information you think I should include next time.
Best of luck with your battles and chest rewards!
