Greetings friends who love threads and needles, I wish you an excellent week together with your loved ones, I am happy to share my creative project, this is a crop top embonado inspired by Khazi Fire Mage, I like this sewing technique because the seams are hidden and the result of the garment is a neat finish, the initial idea was to place black elastic on the straps, then I decided to use purple and thus combine with the fabric, the crop top is two colors yellow on the back and purple on the front with a circle or kind of brooch at the top that joins the strips.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas les deseo una excelente semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir mi proyecto creativo, se trata de un crop top embonado inspirado en Khazi Fire Mage, esta técnica de costura me gusta mucho porque las costuras quedan escondidas y el resultado de la prenda es un acabado prolijo, la idea inicial era colocar elástico negro en las tiras, luego decidí usar morado y así combinar con la tela, el crop top es de dos colores amarillo en la parte trasera y morado en la parte delantera con un círculo o especie de broche en la parte superior que une las tiras.

I started by marking and cutting the pieces of the top; two front, two back and four circles that will be the clasps; with decorative stitch I sewed the elastic bias and with straight stitch the circles, turned and repeated.
Inicié marcando y cortando las piezas del top; dos delanteros, dos traseros y cuatro círculos que serán los broches; con puntada decorativa cosí el sesgo elástico y con puntada recta los círculos, volteé y repisé.
Then I faced the front and back pieces right sides together and sewed leaving the open sides and shoulders of the front, I also glued the strips on the back.
Luego enfrenté por derecho las piezas delanteras y traseras y cosí dejando los lados abiertos y los hombros del delantero, también pegué las tiras en la parte trasera.
The next step was to join the back and front pieces at the shoulders, I faced them right sides together, passed the strips through the shoulder opening and sewed with a straight stitch.
El siguiente paso fue unir las piezas trasera y delantera por los hombros, las enfrenté por lo derecho, pasé las tiras por la abertura de los hombros y cosí con puntada recta.
Once the strips were glued, I closed the sides, matching the previous seams, then I flipped the bottom part, checking that the seams are in place and that the strips are in place.
Pegadas la tiras cerré los laterales haciendo coincidir las costuras anteriores, luego volteé por la parte inferior, verificando que las costuras hayan quedado bien y las tiras estén en su lugar.
With a hidden stitch I glued the snaps on the upper front part.
Con puntada escondida pegué los broches en la parte superior delantera.
The last step is to glue the sash, I pinned it right side facing, sewed with straight stitch then I faced back to back of the sash and hemmed the top, sewed and the crop top is finished.
El último paso es pegar el fajín, sujeté con alfileres enfrentando por el derecho, cosí con puntada recta luego enfrenté revés con revés del fajín e hice un dobladillo en la parte superior, cosí y así está terminado el crop top.
I liked the result of the top, besides the fabric is soft and fresh, it is a very versatile fabric with the perfect elasticity and thickness for this type of project, the emboned seams are one of my favorites, although it requires a larger amount of fabric the result is well worth it, the double layer protects the bust and can be used to exercise or go to the beach.
El resultado del top me gustó, además la tela es suave y fresca, es una tela muy versátil con la elasticidad y grosor perfecto para este tipo de proyectos, las costura embonada es de mis favoritas, aunque requiere una mayor cantidad de tela el resultado bien lo vale,la capa doble protege el busto y se puede usar para hacer ejercicios o ir a la playa.

Hi @monica-ene, keeping the seams hidden is what I like about this technique, although it requires twice as much fabric the result is worth it, it's a cool and comfortable top.
