Splinterlands Town hall TLDR "Quick and Dirty" 30.03.2022

Hey people this is going to be a quick and dirty TLDR of the weekly Splinterlands Town Hall on 30.03.2022

Creative work:

• Loot chests will look different depending on the league you are in, the higher you are - the cooler they will be.
• Developing ranked rewards so that is most likely this is soon to be seen on live.

The new reward cards art is still being worked on, here's some eye candy!
If these don't make it to the reward cards, they will be released with the Riftwatchers set.

1-st sketch looks like a jelly fish so my thought is Water magic with some sort of stun/criple/poison/affliction ability ?

2-nd sketch is of a gargoyle ... I wonder what type of death card that would be.

Esports and toutnament update:

• Tournaments partisipation numbers are up.
  Looking to expand and make tournaments more exciting and incentive appealing to get more people involved in them.

Aggroed:

• Validators are top priority as they launch and build up on then Splinterlands will shift from a centralised game on a decentralised blockchain to a decentralised game on a decentralised blockchain!

Streaming:

• Getting close to having a 24/7 streaming Splinterlands on Twitch. This will promote organic growth instead of spamming people with adds.

Comics:

• A comic is in the early early stages.
• A digital version can be out within 2 months if they focus on it.

** AMA: **

Tournament:

• Tournaments requirements are never going up. Consistently getting lower to increase partisipation.

More synchronous tournaments roll out within the next month or so.

Validators:

• Price will be dynamic,

• You can buy multiple validator licenses.

Random:

• Djinn Renowa buff still to come.

• Roadmap update - parts of it might be going out tomorrow or the full thing next week.

• The amount of DEC produced by doubling the reward pool for wild/modern format is not that much.

• Regarding the Axie hack of $625m stolen. Splinterlands assets are safer but the team is spending a lot of time improoving security.

• A news/update madia page on the splinterlands website is high on the priority list.

• Waka Spiritblade can't be used on land as a totem. But he can be used as a summoner?
