5 MONTHS OF SPLINTERLANDS

Hello dear fellow Splinterlands players, how are you? I hope so!

We are here together again to talk about another month that I complete playing Splinterlands, the fifth since the beginning of this journey, thus keeping the tradition that I have been adopting month by month.

I will make a brief summary about my month of January, about my battles and my future expectations.

And here we go.

January was a bear month for the cryptocurrency market in general, and certainly many of us, including myself, faced uncertainties and doubts about the efficiency, size and composition of our investments.

And with our dear Splintershards it couldn't be different, and it also faced difficulties in this bear market, but I still have great confidence in it for the future, because it has shown a lot of strength in such a negative market.

This only proves and demonstrates that Splinterlands is an amazing and differentiated game, possessing an excellent economy.

In January I acquired some Chaos Legion packs and received some interesting cards, having even talked about some packs in another post, which can be checked here, but recently I received a legendary card that made me very happy:

I continue, little by little, to buy more CHAOS legion packs, because my intention is to increase my power and be able to participate in more powerful leagues without having to spend a lot of money on rentals.

With that brief summary about the month of January in general, dealing in a very quick way with the cryptocurrency market, splintershards, and the latest legendary card I received in the packs I opened, let's talk about my battle stats for the month of January that just ended.

By the end of December 2021 I had participated in a total of 4,114 battles, which can be checked in this post (https://peakd.com/hive-131619/@bernardinetti/4-months-of-splinterlands), and ended January with 4,485, so I can conclude that in the month of January I participated in 371 battles.

In December I had participated in an incredible 1,273 battles, so the amount of battles in January shows itself as a giant drop in the amount of monthly battles, having participated in approximately 25% of the battles compared to the previous month.

This average for January is the lowest since I started in Splinterlands, and much of it was due to the lack of time I had to dedicate to the game that month, but I hope to improve in February.

So, considering that I participated in 371 battles in January, I participated in an average of 12.36 battles per day, a very low number.

Another statistic I like to look at is my average wins within the universe of my total battles in Splinterlands.

I ended the month of January with a total of 2,268 wins out of 4,485 battles, which amounts to a 50.5% win rate, a slight decrease from the 51% win average I ended the month of December with.

My maximum rating in the month of January remained the same as in December, in this case 1,902, and I did not surpass this mark that month, and I also did not surpass my longest winning streak, which so far is 16 games in a row.

This is an incredible winning streak that was acquired between my first and second month in the game through Element Earth, which is certainly now proving very hard to beat.

Although January has been a month of drastic reduction of my stats in Splinterlands, as I just demonstrated, not being able to dedicate myself to the game and participate in many battles, I am very excited and confident for the future of Splinterlands itself and, in particular, my future within the game.

I hope, with the new packs I have been acquiring little by little, to get a good golden legendary card to strengthen my power for good, giving me valuable points that would take me to a Silver III league or even a Silver II league and achieve more prizes in DEC and better prizes in the daily rewards.

In February I intend to dedicate myself more and increase my average daily matches, but right now my biggest goal is to increase the average amount of wins, because it has been reducing month after month and with an average of less than 50% I will not be able to leave the place in the league ranking.
